I completely respect the guy and think he’s an amazing talent. However, take a few notes out of Eli and RV’s book. Go kick everyone’s ass and say nothing. Always been my favorite approach. Responding to idiots on social media is a complete waste of time and stress.

the problem is he wouldn't have crashed without the arm and eye issues. speed is only half the equation. i hope the nerve issues aren't AC92 level.

Part of winning and being a champion is believing in yourself., they talk about it on pulp all the time with guys like Chad, who always believed he could beat Ricky and James even if he wasn’t as good as them, and guess what? He beat them many times..

Why stars allow commenting on their social media I don’t understand….anyhow maybe he had too many pain meds that day 🤷‍♂️

Well… you can’t blame the guy for defending himself. We can’t see all the other comments. So many trolls talking shit, it’s gotta be tough to be in the limelight these days with so many armchair quarterbacks. Lets face it, he has the speed and technique to dominate that class, I hope he can back it up when he gets back on the bike. He just had his lasik surgery, so one less thing get in his way. He’s no quitter, I’ll give him props on being a fighter

Unfortunately it takes speed and consistency

Not sure what Austin is trying to achieve here, if he's talking about Deegan I hope he knows Deegan wasn't 100% and he was pulling on him. Deegan the psycho is going to use this yapping as fuel.

"Interesting perspective from Forkner" Given with zero perspective of what led up to Austin's response. Clearly a slimeball tactic.

Definitely facts. How the hell he was whooping everyone with one contact in is beyond me, until he keeps it on two wheels though it's irrelevant

its probably best he stays quiet cause most people aren’t a fan of the truth in the world now. you can’t argue with him though. He is right.

Seems like the Deegan hype bothers him a little

Good, heal up and prove it!

Nobody likes to hear the absolute truth, Austin. C'mon, man!

Pretty bold claims. He did look very good before he crashed, I’ll give him that. Maybe not the best thing to put on Instagram but whatever

Thanks for the like Pops. I wish the best for Austin. He's a good young man and a hell of a talent and i wish him nothing but the best. His crash and the challenges of his eyesight are a reason to root even more for him, not to find fault and be negative.

This is why you can never take anyone that says California sucks seriously. I bet they don't wanna hear how we get year round riding, no split practice, no spectator fee tracks at $28/day at cahuilla and $32/day at Pala on a 5-ride pass. Then put our bikes away, get real actual Mexican food instead of whatever the hell the Midwest thinks it is and still be on the beach in the same day 🤣

I have never seen something like that 😅 Here's a wider footage:
