I agree of this. I was scratching my head wondering if Jett was getting 10th place and blaming his ankle. Jett has never brought up his ankle but actually down plays it when asked by the media.

The most confusing thing to me still is why Deegan said: "Jett can't use the ankle as an excuse anymore", an excuse for what exactly, for beating him? 😂

Two things are true... His rookie 450 season is going incredible so far. He is still not backing up his claims lol. "RIP Jett" did not age well.

Washougal has already been mentioned and it's actually the worst track statistically for both Lawrences while it's the best for Deegan. Only place where I see him getting a moto win and I also said so before the season. Though currently the only way I see him winning there is with the Hunter brothers both having a mid pack start (the chances of that are slim I guess). Who knows though, in his rookie season Deegan looked like a completely different rider on that track but last year I'm pretty sure Shimoda just blew by him in the 2nd moto...

I definitely agree he is improving, but I don’t believe he is at a level to win without a lot of assistance yet. He was pushing as hard as possible at Thunder Valley to keep up and kept making huge mistakes and crashed, and to keep up he had to cut the track over and over. I say pending a mechanical or a crash he will continue to get 3rd behind the Lawrence’s and he will get 4th during the races Coenen shows up to drop him like a bad habit the same way. If Herlings were to show up...

I can't be the only one who scrolls these online gathering places and thinks "im glad these people don't really show up at the races, and God bless whatever prevents them from doing do."

Let’s rewind to moto 2 at High Point. Lap 15 was his fastest. He was in third. He got to 1.5 - 2 seconds behind Jett? Jett responded and ran his fastest lap on 16. Hunter was gone in 1st place. If Deegan got the holeshot and ran his lap 15 pace for the entire moto, he might’ve won. But to do that without blowing up and also knowing Jett and Hunter are lurking from behind would be extremely difficult. Possible? Sure. Likely? No.

He would be better to win one this year With Lucas going over next year and the two Lawrence brothers healthy he might struggle to podium

That guy should be on a Triumph 450 in the US shaking hands, waving, and being British on a British bike, with an already established US fan base. Missed opportunity for Triumph IMO. I'd put Max a c-hair ahead of Jordon.

Jett could put 30 on the field consistently? Maybe... Can he run those hero laps over and over again for the entire moto without going to the hospital? Maybe someday we'll find out, but normally he doesn't need to and his racecraft works just fine the way he rides now. But Eli was doing more than that in those 5 moto's, winning by 90 seconds and going 3-5 seconds a lap faster than the field for the ENTIRE moto. Just like Vialle who of course had a great deal with HRC but also wanted to go back to europe even tho he was pretty succesful in the US to say the least. And tbh I could see the same happening to Prado, he had an interview few months ago with Lewis and when he was asked about it, man, he misses his home GP and fans u could tell. Cant blame him if he goes back, somehow doesnt work out, he is not the Prado he used to be and he has more hate in the US than anything...

Look I'm not a Deegan excuser, and he deserved every bit of that penalty, but no way was he gaining 1-2 seconds on that cut. But please don't miss my main point, I'm not arguing that Deegan is as fast as Jett. I'm just arguing Jett was not cruising in the slightest. He would've preferred to be further away from Hunter, and Deegan through the rest of the track. When Jett has Hunter, Chase, Eli and certainly Deegan(because who trusts Deegan to race cleanly?)within 1-2 seconds, he's not just riding at 85%. He's managing the risk of crashing and his...
