I think he meant Betas second 250 rider, I believe they signed Derek Kelly for one of the 250 spots. Bourdon would be a good choice, he was a regular in the top 10 on the west coast.

I’m terrified they’re going to sign Masterpool. They already tried in the past.

Lord I hope not, I don’t think he’d put that bike in the main. I’ve said it many times before, Masterpool should try and get something going up in Canada in the 450 class. He clearly missed the boat for SX.

Could masterpool even get a ride with a decent support team at this point? I don't see how you could sign him without seeing him prove it for a few rounds of SX first.

Masterpool may be past his prime (injuries) but someone will give him a ride. The question is how often will he actually show up and race? Fun to watch him ride, though.

He has been in SoCal since he got back from surgery grinding pretty hard. Not staying at home where he has a house and free tracks to ride. He's been hammering laps at all the local tracks. So he clearly wants to be seen and when you have his speed someone will notice. We shall see if anything comes of it, but he's def been doing things differently this summer than I've ever seen him do in the past, so maybe it clicks that it's one last time to shit or get off the pot

I wish he’d just grind for outdoors and SMX. Skip supercross.

Not 2027 but I heard Star is sending a bunch of 250 riders to AusX, anyone else heard this?

He can actually ride SX on a 250 fairly well. Dude was solid at SMX the last two years. Pro circuit rushed him as an injury replacement and he rode well in the heat at that race and just had a silly crash where he broke his hand. He would definitely be the best option Beta could get at this point speed wise. But again I get he's been a head case and that's what works against him.

He's just so good outdoors I can't see him taking a SX only thing at Beta. Both him and Benny should be racing outdoors.

From Chase Curtis over at Swap Moto Live.

-Rockstar Energy the brand. Sounds like they're leaving MX/SX altogether.

-Rumors: After years of teasing the new sound enforcement and restrictions, we've heard the AMA recently discussed pulling back the changes for 2027... As you can imagine, team managers did NOT take those propositions lightly or well. Think about the millions of dollars teams and OEMs have invested to produce quieter race bikes and exhaust systems.

Star Racing:

Cooper Webb going to Team Tedder and bringing his mechanic with him. It's believe that he'll also be bringing 3-4 other crew members along with him.

450 Team manager Rich Simmons is leaving Star Racing after SMX. Most likely heading over to Team Tedder

QuadLock Honda:

Rumor of Michael Mosiman signing an extension with Star Racing Yamaha, but he believes he'll be riding for QuadLock Honda next year.

Kevin Windham has been hired to help develop a Honda supported amateur program.

Phoenix Honda:

Steve Westfall left Triumph and is the new Teams Manager at Phoenix Honda.

Team will have 3 new riders with Avery Long being one of them.
