I was just there last weekend - next door at the California Science Center. The whole exhibition Park area was very well kept up and nice, I didn't see any homeless, but I did see a shit ton of LAPD everywhere on patrol. Yes, some parts of Los Angeles can be shitty, but so can parts of Detroit, Cleveland, Milwaukee, St Paul, St. Louis Miami, , Etc Etc. How people can judge an entire state based on parts of one city they have probably never visited seems kind of ignorant...

The nearby surrounding area has been pretty gentrified since USC has been buying it all up so it really isn’t anymore dangerous than any other big city. Doesn’t mean it’s a crime-free paradise, it’s still a large city so crime is inevitable. Practice basic safety procedures like being mindful at night and I’m sure you’ll be fine. The Coliseum finished a $315-million renovation in 2019 so it’s quite a bit different than 40 years ago. Realistically there are “sketchier” stops on the SX schedule but that’s just the world we live in.

Not all of California is like LA and San Fran lol I love when people say shit like this. Same people that say this shit are the same ones paying for Moto vacations here every winter. Whats even better is the people saying the industry here is dead because star moved to Florida. Regarding the area of the coliseum, its been cleaned up a lot since the 90's. Its pretty much on campus of USC, so it can't be a shit hole. Just don't go on the east side of the freeway and you'll be fine.

Coming from someone who works all over LA, it's definitely not bad. A lot of newer apartments for college kids there so they have taken over the area more and more. I go to the Shrine for concerts quite a bit which is down a block and never have issues.

In a time where most companies - especially a lot of moto brands - frankly love being mediocre, 6D are an absolutely top shelf product and company. The company is staffed with smart people who can actually form sentences and the helmets are excellent. The way their liners and cheekpads can be swapped to get good fitment is brilliant. I sell them, and use an ATR-2 myself. They are a good example for our industry. BP

6D is an amazing company. They get my business for 3 reasons: (1) I truly believe they offer the safest MX helmets (2) They are excellent to work with (this goes a LONG way with me) (3) By buying their product, we're helping fuel the R&D that will make for even better/safer 6D products in the future (and the competition)

Many, including myself, consider 6D the innovator of the current generation of high-end helmets (rotational protection, etc.). Their competitors had to catch up. Their rebuild service is another area where they are leading the way and their competitors are going to have to catch up once again.

I’m glad he made it in and has put this chip on his shoulder but I can’t recollect any podcast with Steve or JT that called him fat and out of shape. The only comments I heard them say was that they weren’t sure if he could make a main because he was at such a disadvantage on a 125. He’s also the dude that went on record to say that Ken is using PED’s and is dope sick when his results fall off. He’s a bit kooked out but I love that he’s ripping a 125 all the time...

When supercross goes mainstream

Elliot Park is a bad part of town? The stadium is surrounded by breweries and high end restaurants. I’m vaccinated and enjoy spending time in downtown Minneapolis, somehow neither of those things have killed me, so I’ll still be going.
