Dcope17 Started a new thread Mystery Brake Lever '16 CRF450R
4/9/2020 10:11pm I bought a used 2016 450R and immediately bought spare brake and clutch lever as I do some trail riding as well. Anyway, bent the brake lever in Moab and instead of using my spare, I just bought another to install and leave my spare. Well, the new lever isn't correct and I check my spare and it is incorrect...

3/23/2020 7:39pm Not able to contact the seller, its been a couple years. I would just go to my local shop and start trying levers but given the virus scare, probably not going to do that.

7/19/2019 3:50pm You're thinking of the wrong thing when you are saying 2 DD ( or double D ) You wife might have 2DDs but your flashlight has 2 D batteries.

Dcope17 Added a reply to 2021 or 2022 SX schedule
7/10/2019 7:56pm STL has been East coast if I remember right. Also was thinking they might be wanting the start both the east and west rather than waiting like 6 weeks for the first east coast SX. I can't say as to why they would want to do that... just sayin' though.

7/9/2019 7:47pm I agree there, Anaheim, STL then back to Anaheim? I didn't believe it when my wife text me the schedule at work.

7/7/2019 7:46pm How hard was the track that Dale Ernhart died on? They are on top of safety gear... but pushing the limits leads to injuries. If a track was so dangerous that everyone went slow, then it would still be competitive. bit then one person goes a little faster, then yet another goes alittle faster still... we then end up right...

6/25/2019 7:32pm I heard it was really nasty as to what happened to him and how he looked. really shook a lot of people up. Terrible. I personally think the rougher the safer - it's harder to go fast and speed is what is getting us hurt Bikes are WAY too fast now days - and your right about that. All the rules keep moving forward with power - rather than backwards. It's doing us no good long term. What a disaster for his family and friends. Prayers and best wishes for everyone involved. If any good of this is possible -...

Dcope17 Added a reply to 250 two stroke idle how long
6/17/2019 6:17pm This brings up some old memories... I remember when I had my bike idle, then I accidentally kicked it in gear and the whiskey idle ride was on!!! Luckily, got it shut down before I was killed. So now its no idle for me too so I am in complete control.
Dcope17 Added a reply to Why You Don't Ride Or Race Near Storms
6/10/2019 10:28am I always wondered how big a bolt of lightning was. I guessed about 8" diameter... Well, sitting in the garage one evening watching the storm, bolt hit about 100 yards away. Light and sound were so close together, there was no delay picked up by my ears. Bolt looked to be about 4' diameter. A lot bigger than I thought.

6/9/2019 7:16pm I can't play an expert here, but if you were driving a car and got struck by lightning, you could end up crashing that too. Only difference being a car surrounding you but at 80mph, might not matter too much.

4/7/2019 5:46am Sure, make the competition twice as hard by cutting out half the riders and see how well new riders do. Nothing better than racing SX and never making the evening show.

3/23/2019 7:50am I had this same thought when Kenny was in the lead... if they threw the flag and Kenny hesitated just enough to make ( webb I believe ) behind him let off the throttle and grab a bit of brake, then Kenny takes off, he would start with a good lead. This was the race Malcom hroke his leg

3/21/2019 10:24am I stall my '16 CRF450 all the time. Clutch is grooved so I ordered a Rekluse. Won't be a problem now but since I bought the bike, I thought the idle was lean... so a custom map would be a help? I didn't know if I had something wrong or not.
