HAHA, I went to Del Amo in Santa Ana once... their fees were more than outrageous, they were downright hilarious. It was well over $2k.

Well, once in every 15 years is better than never with the Triple Crown format. There is the whole 2013 and 2014 SX seasons on YouTube and watching those, there were some very exciting races. Leads changed hands several times during the 20 lap main Certainly a few where they're showing all the back to 15th. place since nothing was...

Triple crown was flop. Really a 6 minute main??? Did you happen to watch the finals last year? Osborne goes down, 14:45 later passes Savaygy second to last corner. How exciting was that. 6 minute race, watch the start, see a few passes, race over. On to the next 8 minute main with the 450's. Maybe it will be different...

Spring do give some bottoming control... Landing a jump ( springs 1%, dampening 99% ) Braking into turns with braking bumps ( springs 30%, dampening 70% )

Out of the gate, I'd take the second left straight across the finish line and then run the entire track. Serious though, 50 yard line seats look good, . endzone seats, might want to go home and watch it on TV.

The shocks, not the springs. Meaning the shock oil weight and the valves in the forks/shock keep you from bottoming out. Buy the strongest spring made for your bike, install them but leave the oil out and you not only will bottom out on the landings, but the takeoff as well. Really light springs and thick oil, as long as...

Dcope17 Added a reply to HR watch recommendations for moto?

I'll shoot in my experience as well... I use a Garmin 920XT which does not have a wrist based HR monitor, I have to use the chest strap. All the reviews I have read on any watch with the wrist based HR was its inaccuracy. so don't even try that. Mine has GPS but you can make a new profile...

One good thing about this thread... there was a Blazing Saddles reference. Nothing else really stood out.

I don't think that engine can be vertical... oil lubing the top pistons would not get out, sideways pistons like VW and BMW motorcycles have been around forever. I didn't notice how the exhaust was getting out. It looked like it flowed somehow through the center of the engine. Possibly with a turbo having a forced induction you can really...

Dcope17 Added a reply to Hydraulic Clutch on Honda

10/30/2017 8:36am
I rode a friend's Husky and liked the hydro clutch feel over my '16 Honda 450. I was thinking about mounting a hydro setup on mine but since the cable is pull and the hydro is push, I was just going to make a piece to bolt/weld to the arm where the cable hooks to and make it extend off...

Triple Crown format... I don't think I'll like it. Guess I'll go to A1 and A2 and maybe come back and change my comment.
This feature has 25 comments.

Dcope17 Added a reply to Moab

I have gone to Moab each spring for a few years now. 2 years MTB and jeep, last year MTB and dirtbikes. Riding was a blast and can hardly wait for next year. We did the Slickrock trail on both the MTB and motorcycles. It was okay. If you're doing motorcycle only, grab the Charles Wells offroad guide for Moab...
