Youre asking for Suzuki to ADD electric start AND shave some weight off the bike? You realize the 2 ideas contradict each other right? Even IF Suzuki added electric start and were able to keep the weight the same as it is now would be a massive accomplishment and that would be the case with any manufacturer. Once the manufacturers see no value in funding a 250 team your prayers will be answered. Until then... enjoy the racing as sometimes it is better than the 450 class.

I think there is still moving parts with Suzuki going on. From what it looks like this might be the last year we see Suzuki at the professional level in off-road racing. I dunno what that will do for production bikes in the years to come but it just seems Suzuki is going a different direction with their budget, and off-road isn’t that direction.
