Thanks for all the compliments. Serving you and my country was my pleasure. I have lots of fond memories of both serving and racing. And I have made many friends along the way.

Just qualifying for a national (let alone multiple) is another level from what 99% of us will ever attain in MX. Most important, thank you for your service to our country.

Racing the Grass Track Fall race at RedBud, riding the pit bike race dressed as a UPS man (costumes are welcome) and running second to Jeff Stanton, who I think is long gone ahead of me towards the end of the race. Only he wasn't. He was behind me, about to lap me, and I didn't know until we came to a left-handed corner, and he tapped me on my left shoulder like he was inside of me. Instead, he was on the outside, wide open, passing me while reaching across with his clutch hand and tapping me on the...

Youre asking for Suzuki to ADD electric start AND shave some weight off the bike? You realize the 2 ideas contradict each other right? Even IF Suzuki added electric start and were able to keep the weight the same as it is now would be a massive accomplishment and that would be the case with any manufacturer. Go back and look at the weight of a brand new bone stock CRF450r and then look at what that very same bike weighs now. The CRF459 has gained somewhere around 10 - 15lbs…it could be as much as 20lbs heavier than the...

Haha It really is. Nothing you or anyone else can do for you. What really pisses me off about it is when someone does come up to help, they want to play 20 questions and you can’t talk. I didn’t answer your first question, not sure why you’re expecting me to answer 19 more. Laughing

Once the manufacturers see no value in funding a 250 team your prayers will be answered. Until then... enjoy the racing as sometimes it is better than the 450 class.

I think there is still moving parts with Suzuki going on. From what it looks like this might be the last year we see Suzuki at the professional level in off-road racing. I dunno what that will do for production bikes in the years to come but it just seems Suzuki is going a different direction with their budget, and off-road isn’t that direction. I could be wrong, and truly I hope I am. But I think the writing is on the wall. I love Suzuki and would hate to see them fade out of professional racing and the off-road...

Pretty much what Slip said. Kind of a shitty thing the kid did , but he's also a young kid. Not really an excuse , but Christ....kids do stupid stuff. I know that the 4 years I ran an indoor track , I had near 3500 member's and it was hard to keep track of everyone , but I caught a few scammer's over the years. I had 4 guy's show up with one bike , put thr wrist band on the bike while they all took turns on the bike. They got a few motos in when I finally...

And if you were the track owner, that would totally be fair. What I'm saying is the track owners (who this directly affects) dealt with it how they felt necessary. If they don't want to name the suspect, that's fine. If they want to, that's fine as well. It doesn't affect you or me, so we don't have a say on whether they do or not.
