seriously. he made the entire field look like c-class. Dude was on another planet that year - still remember watching him yard sale it and blow his shoulders up with my old man (RIP). We both just sat up straight and said "Holy crap!"....and that was the end of one helluva an epic summer. It would have been interesting to see: Jett is like a gazelle hopping around the track and ET3 was like a bulldozer just hammering everything into submission.

I couldn’t agree more, the hate that some of these posters have for Deegan is nothing short of visceral. The sad part is, without him each weekend these races would be much more boring. Love him or hate him, I guarantee the majority of these posters are tuning in each week to see how he does. I’m sure right after each Moto they’re running down to mommy‘s basement just to spew more of their hateful posts… I too am surprised at how well he’s doing this year. I figured he would be a 5 to 10 guy till about halfway...

So 4 races in he is in 3rd place in the standings, about where he should be. I guess in my older age I do not get riled up over this stuff. He wasn't trying to interfere. Deegan was just cleaning the mud out of his tire. Normally the tire works better without mud in the grooves.

I agree with this - he’s realistically a 4th - 5th place guy for the most part. You could make a case that he’s more a 3rd place guy but Deegan is improving so unless Prado shows us something I doubt that many people will be disagreeing that the Lawrences and Deegan are the top 3 and Prado slots in behind them. What you say about his ego is probably right too. He may not be able to accept the reality that there are guys who have him covered even on his best day and that could mess with him...

Prado has nothing for the bros and deegan at the moment. His great starts is what will keep him in the battles though especially over deegan.

to be honest , I think Prado got overhyped when he moved over to AMA ..yeah he was a double champ , but like Febvre he won his titles with the big dogs out ... Gajser and Herlings are the big dogs , when one of them stays healthy for a season they took the title .. Prado was top 5 ... on certain tracks he did really good , on others he easily avg .. he strongest point was his start .. not his finish ... so for him to go top 5 in this field with Lawrence Brothers...

jorge ought to be embarrassed for allowing Deegs to pass him and disappear like that in the second moto.....no excuse for it

The simple fact is that, as good as he is, and as dialed in on his KTM as he is… he just doesn’t have the pace to run with the Lawrence’s and Deegan. And today, his teammate Plessinger found enough motivation and speed to pass him, too. Prado’s not perfect, but he’s worlds better than this time last year on the bike that just ended Sexton’s season.

Closing the gap to -7 from -20 is a personal win for Deegs.

I’m not a Deegan fan, but this is correct and if someone can’t comprehend that was a solid race from all 3, it’s just fanboi’ism.
