I think it a testament to how fricking fast those Brothers are. He’s sitting 3rd in the points and been on the podium several times. So far he is doing great, especially being a 450 Rookie. I thought his first moto last Saturday coming up for a top 5 after that first turn was pretty impressive.

Deegan is fine and will get better. I figured he would be a 3-5 guy tgise season and maybe sneak a moto win out. The other brothers are perhaps 2 of the greatest ever to ride. If those 2 weren’t here racing, Deegan would be having a great season then, also.

Deegan had faster laps than Hunter on laps 10, 14, 15, and 17. Haiden had faster laps than Jett on laps 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, and 17. So on lap 10, while pushing through the pack, Deegan had a faster lap. The remainder of the laps, Deegan was basically running their pace as the broadcast stated. But none of that matters because you’ll just conjecture that Hunter and Jett were just out there for a cruise, enjoying the sites and sounds, right? Why all the downvotes for themx11? He is pretty much correct with what he said. The Lawrence's have even said it themselves. Deegan is serving his apprenticeship whilst facing two of the best riders of this decade. He will get his win at some point but it's gonna take a little luck.

Staying close to the leaders lap times that have a completely open track while using whatever line he had to use in order to be making passes is a huge achievement. Deegan already knows that he is going to end the outdoors in 3rd place but come playoff time and the points reshuffle he is still in contention for that championship.

He was the only other 450 rider in the 2:00 laptimes at that point and when they said it he was running 2 seconds a lap faster than anyone on the track, hence why they said it. Maybe you should do the thinking next time.

Many of the greatest rivalries in sports have had lopsided win/loss records and were predicated on one side being the underdog. It would be interesting to get the low down on how the factory bikes stack up against each other. I’d guess the 250’s are all pretty close. I don’t know if that’s the case with 450’s. Those red bikes seem to hook up. Be interesting to see where Triumph and Beta compare to Jap and Austrian factory bikes.
