4/14/2025 7:41am We had issues with people not changing the red spin on filter often enough (supposed to be every 7500 miles) and it would cause the issue you're describing. It was less common, but the fuel filter would also cause it (supposed to be changed every 14,000 miles). Both are a cheap try to see if it takes care of the issue.

4/14/2025 7:41am So the motor runs perfectly .....no crazy noises nothing. On a few occasions now I've been on a job and I go to leave and the truck turns over fine but won't fire Another tradesman showed me to pump the fuel primer manually..I did/do that and it fires straight away? Would that have anything to do with it? Also I...

4/14/2025 7:34am Any codes? Will it rev in neutral /park? Any smoke, strange engine sounds? Does it have a lift pump (in addition to the HPCR pump)? If so, the need to occasionally pump the primer could point to this being bad (can’t pump enough fuel from the tank to the injection pump to make power). You need to isolate whether it’s an engine problem, transmission problem, or both. I would get it to a good independent diesel shop (NOT a dealership). Pay a few $$$ for a diagnostic. Go from there.

4/12/2025 10:08pm Hello!… I'm hoping there are some mechanics out there that could give me some advice on what's going on with my truck… I was returning from the nursery on Monday and the truck lost power and won't go above 35 now ...2000rpms-ish I pumped it to the closest mechanics who are now telling me that I need a new $8000...

3/26/2025 6:45am Never experienced it but I’ve heard bad reeds can cause hard starting and low rpm issues. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to pull it off and make sure they still seal while the carb is off

3/25/2025 7:07am No rain but nasty rutted faces and track. It will be dry- but there's no fixing the moisture because of the ash content in the dirt. It's a unique dirt. I enjoy it as it's far from what's trained on in the South and Southern California. If Hill gets a jump..NorthWest will bring the house down.

3/24/2025 8:14pm Exactly my point! Pulled the pipe off yesterday and was able to pour it like a kettle... Gave the bowl and tap and no longer dripping but still an absolute pain in the ass to start.... I'll pull it off and go thru and give it clean. Would reeds play a role if the starting problem?...and/or Letting fuel thru.

3/23/2025 9:28am Thankyou I'm about to take the carb off this morning. My wife said she noticed the pool beneath and turned fuel off Has this mix been sitting in the pipe? Essentially flowing forward? Pass the reeds, cyclinder and into the base of the pipe with gas off? It started fine and thought it would have wet the plug 🤷🏼♂️

3/22/2025 10:29am Looked to have stayed right behind Webb most of press day from what I have seen. They all struggled with the rhythm section for a few laps so no biggie there. Think he’ll be fine and second that he’ll end up 12th or so.

3/22/2025 8:15am Yeah I looked at the points standings and I take back what I said, but I still think he should be in that 10-12 range.
