From the looks of those scars and surgery, he probably should retire and coach a little. He probably should stop risking being able to walk for the rest of his life. Get some fun rides in and call himself a vet.

Well I picked him for my Vital Fantasy MX team so that pretty much guarantees he will pull off or finish last. 😵

Should fare better with shorter mains in triple crown format…. Podiums one race, then pulls off for the other. 2 races

Damn a lot of Christian haters in here. Assuming he's ready to go, 7th or 8th.

People love to be negative on social media.

He’s so talented on a bike. I just wanna see him shredding again.

Saw Christian at a practice day in 2015 while he was retired (?) and it was like poetry.  He passed me right before the sand rollers and I got to watch him slide over them.  Honestly one of the best looking dudes on a bike that I’ve witnessed.  I hope he can get it back on track.  I’d love to see him do well

He looked pretty good doing that last rhythm section where he tripled into the corner. 👍

Looked like absolute shit today

Timid.

Not a chance in hell he's beating the top 10 including privateers Hill and Ferrandis.

What's the story with the claim he had 'not to pull off early' written into his contract? Any proof to back this up or is it about as true as Boomslang's claim to be good mates with the Lawrences?

Put down the PCP pipe Sand - you're beginning to trip. There's more likelihood Boomslang is engaged to be married to Hunter Lawrence than Christian 'good contacts' Craig is going to get anywhere near a podium.

Yeah I looked at the points standings and I take back what I said, but I still think he should be in that 10-12 range.

I see either a suprise Stella performance battling for the 5th position or a complete polar opposite ending towards the back end of the field (possible crash included?).

Either way.. Hope he ends the night safe.

Happy to see him back, he is poetry to watch when he is comfortable on the bike and in shape. Rode with him a few times and he makes it look easy. Remember, this guy was getting regular top 5's and couple podiums before going to Husky on the Star program.

This is my question as well, hw was so good on Star, both 250 and 450, and the Husky really seemed to derail him. Hope he crushes it tonight!

Looked to have stayed right behind Webb most of press day from what I have seen.  They all struggled with the rhythm section for a few laps so no biggie there.  Think he’ll be fine and second that he’ll end up 12th or so.

He was already making excuses about being in the B group. Just getting warmed up I guess.

To be fair, the most recent injury was mild in the grand scheme of things. And his issues with his elbow were complicated by issues with his surgical interventions failing. I’d say if he’s healed well from his prior procedures, the most recent ACL Reconstruction shouldn’t be a lasting issue.

12th overall.

If Shane gets a good start, Craig will finish right behind him in 12th. If Craig starts in front of Shane, Christian gets 11th.

Is there a prize for this 12th place prediction?
