Maybe the bigger concern for race teams and spectators is kidnapping. 17,000 people a year are kidnapped in South Africa compared to a couple hundred a year in the US. This sucks. Bad. I’ve been watching Loretta’s for years and years. Watched some great racing and it was cool to follow the young riders as they progressed through the classes. It was also cool to watch former pros battle and also the age classes I raced and riders I raced against to see how they would do. I enjoyed the podium interviews as I got to know the riders a bit. If industry leading OEMs like Honda, KTM, and Kawi can’t make him happy what makes you think a 8 year old Suzuki with kick start will?

Prado seems to have a really good believe in him self that he can beat Jett. But to be fair, he have never displayed the speed needed for it. Even on European ground on familiar tracks for Prado he has not been on pair with Jett speed wise and it seems to me that he have reached his ceiling now. He will have some good rides now and then but he don’t have enough in the tank to beat the beast guys over a whole summer.

Looks like Prado and Hunter also got busted for cheating.

Not saying that he stalled it, but if you do not pull in the clutch at the right moment, I don't care if it is FI or carb, the bike will stall (I have made this mistakes a couple of times)

In reality, the vast bulk aren't bought by racers at all. Even amateur level racers are but a small percentage of the sales, so why worry about it from a manufacturer standpoint? Kawasaki will sell every single one that they make regardless of any racing class legalities.

There are tons of bikes being raced but its off-road, same reason Kawasaki made an offroad focused two stroke. Over 1000 people raced GNCC last weekend, not even counting the youth riders that raced Saturday.

You can hate the kid all you want, I’m not a fan of his podium antics etc.. But you can’t deny he puts in the work, he was worlds better than last week, his first moto start was great, and motored his way into third in the 2nd moto.. he set the bar very high with all the pre-season crap, but if you look at it how it is, this is a solid rookie debut

Now that you mention it and watching a couple of time I kind of thought the rear end rebounded faster than the front which loaded the front causing the tuck.

Speaking from experience having broken my talus, Jett will finish the season, riding won't make the ankle worse, he may have to adjust his riding a little when it comes to riding on the balls of his feet, but apart from that he'll be fine. Jett will walk with a limp for years and may never get full motion back, you get way more pain on the injury from walking than you do riding. The worst part is sitting down for an hour and not moving, your ankle stiffens up and your limp is even more pronounced. You have to...
