I think if AP was to do that , it would be a huge mistake and something he would regret big time. One year ( his rookie year ) on a 450.....bad stuff can happen to nyone in their rookie year.. That guy has a ton of talent and deserves some leeway here. It's like walking up a flight of 10,000 steps , only to get to 9,990.....turning around and saying " screw it ". Christ , try a different bike / team , see what happens!

I remember when I started lsing interest in racing when the class turn out got smaller, and the number of classes ballooned. When I started in ‘83, there was a pee wee class, 60cc, 80 junior and senior, schoolboy, 125, 250, and open A and B, and the senior class. That’s it. Classes were packed. When I stopped racing there were probably 3 times the number of classes. It stretched the day out so long and when it was finally time for your race, you got maybe 3 laps racing against 4 or 5 bikes. No fun. I loved having...

Yep, and he is a former two time 250 SX champion. He had a couple of bad years at Yamaha with injuries etc, but he didn't forget how to ride fast on a SX track. I think Anderson is going to surprise some people.

Last I saw, his Instagram said when he knew something, so would we. I don’t have Instagram so wondered if anyone has heard anything. I hope like hell its not a heal and he can get back out there by mid SX season.

I had an ‘86 RM125. The most noticeable gain you did with those was to dump $3, $4, or $500 into the motor. It would have the effect of lightening your wallet. Didn’t go any faster but hey, it kept the economy going, right. I rode a friends stock CR125 shortly after and that bike was like riding a 250!
