So, the first couple rides I was like wow the flameouts are bad just like everyone said. I had a 450RX to which people complained about that but I never had an issue with that bike. I turned up the idle slightly and the flameouts seemed to stop. I’ve put maybe 100 miles on it and I’ve had no issues in that regard anymore. The jerkyness is there for sure, and it’s just all plugged up as far as power goes. It’ll still hit 75 no problem though. I ended up going with the GET ECU tuned by taco moto...

Hey everyone, Just wanted to share a video I thought you may enjoy, I got the opportunity to go up against Nick Romano on his Star Racing 250F on my YZ 250 2 stroke at the South of the Border area qualifier this past weekend. Although the Star bike definitely has the upper hand, I had a blast trying to stay close to it on the old reliable 2 stroke. Even had to throw in a little JS7 wannabe wall jump to try to keep up. Hopefully you all will see the YZ at some outdoor nationals this summer!

Well... The USA is in a "must situation" this year... and I cant think of anybody else that can handle that much "must". RC for MXDN Pres! In all seriousness. I think a new coach might brew up a little more interest, so it might not be a bad idea. Roger could still be involved but a fresh outlook may not hurt.

It’s pretty well documented in the magazines that in 2005 it was basically RC managing the team and holding team meetings, reviewing strategy, etc. the guy knows how to win races.

Any guesses how much a study would cost? I think you need to test at least 4 angles, 8-10 helmets. If you get them at cost, you’re out about 15,000. Probably costs another 5,000 for the lab for the day. 20,000 isn’t much to make an informed decision for thousands of riders. I’ll keep an eye out for NIH grants that would fund this.
