Sometimes I don’t realize other people are watching/listening and they don’t want to hear us bickering. Definitely will try to be better about it. Being on the broadcast is easily the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Dream job. Never really know if I’m doing things well or not, just do it the best I can. In the end, we all just love dirt bikes and racing.

I hear you guys on this and will try to be better moving forward!

I don’t subscribe to the theory of not sending a team that can’t win. I do get less interested when we are going below the 5-6th best riders just to make a team. To me there is a distinction there. If we are sending a team from the top 5ish riders then by all means go compete irrespective of how they compare to other teams on paper. Go compete.

Ridiculous take. You must be blind. Jett clearly LOST positions when he went off track. Go re watch the overhead video.

34 years ago no they didn't get paid although they were allowed in as NBA pros for the first time. The athletes in the Olympics have been paid the last 20 or so years including NBA players.....so I'm not quite sure what your point is since the Olympics have been giving every athlete $10k as stipend and each country has been paying athletes for medals for years, I broke it down above. Again you are making it about Deegan not me. All the riders should be paid...The Olympics is a quasi amateur event and every athlete gets paid....MXDN is 100%...

Every friggin year and here we are again....selling t-shirts and a golf tournament isn't going to make enough to send a team....we do this year after year....the easiest solution is staring everyone right in the face just add an MXDN surcharge of $.50 on each ticket sold in SX/MX/SMX it would raise approximately $500k....problem solved enough to pay the teams and riders to do this event....but no we just continue to repeat year after year.....some would call that insanity...RaiseItforUSA isn't working...I would easily pay a $.50 surcharge for every ticket I purchase without batting an eye....this is a complete failure...

Pathetic

Such an obvious cover job for deegan who has been hinting hes not going unless he gets a payday for weeks now.

Mark is awkward in general. He is hilarious but not sure he is always trying to be, if you catch my drift.

He ain’t gonna be running near the front in Canada I’m sorry to break it to you 😆

See ML512's thread on "license point" penalties... I'm no lawyer (😉) but, is it possible that the apparent change in penalty assessment is due to a need to appear to not be manipulating results, now that gambling on races is allowed? Will ALL penalties during races just be license points now?

"He was still on the race track just outside the markers..." Genuinely curious, how far outside the marker do you need to be in order to be considered OFF the race track?

American Motocross is doomed

You seem to be missing the point completely. If a restaurant I support were to suddenly start charging me a booth rental fee I should just be fine with it since I spend a lot of money on food each year anyway?? Although I respect your carefree outlook towards new costs, I just don’t share it.

Remember when boxing was a huge sport in the US? The fights were carried free on network tv. Everyone knew or had heard of Muhamid Ali, George Foreman, Joe Frazier, Marvin Hagler, Sugar Ray Leonard, Ceasar Chavez, etc. Then boxing went Pay Per View, and the last well known boxer of the beginning of Pay Per View era is probably Iron Mike Tyson. That's been decades ago. 95% of the population now couldn't name a current boxer in any weight class, much less the title (belt) holders of the classes. Thats what happens when you take a sport for the...

This is a big FU to the fans, riders, riders families, sponsors and event sponsors. Last year RacerTV avg 200,000 daily views. The viewers were the core fans and riders that buy and support the sponsor’s products and services. No chance Flo will have that same demographic viewer, let alone that many views. Classic case of the mouth biting the hand that feeds it.

I’m with you. I hope people refuse to pay and viewership is low. That being said Burkeen is covering a lot of motos on YouTube and uploading pretty quick

I bet it's Ryder Malinoski and they are sharing a transponder.
