I don’t subscribe to the theory of not sending a team that can’t win. I do get less interested when we are going below the 5-6th best riders just to make a team. To me there is a distinction there. If we are sending a team from the top 5ish riders then by all means go compete irrespective of how they compare to other teams on paper. Go compete.

You're assuming it's Deegan, but I haven't heard anyone say anything like that so I assume the "current group of cowards" goes beyond Deegan. But we'll never know because it's another thread built on a false narrative, and all the same people will say all the same things until the next thread starts.

I for one am fired up for the US team! Webb steps up on a new bike, PC supports Kitchen who is still one of the fastest 250 guys in AMA MX, and Hymas grabbing his balls and going to the big boys class! Fuckin A. No one is asking to be paid to show up....they are just showing up, period. Is it inconvenient? Fuck yes. High performance sport is inconvenient. If the entire US MX community can't get behind these 3 then it is a real shame.
