There is a key difference in when Jason has made a questionable pass. He is actually stupid in that most, if not all, his “cheap” passes this year he was the faster rider. He could have made the passes clean with a tiny bit of patience. All he accomplished was making enemies. Bambam’s are cheap as hell but he is usually slower then the person he is taking out.. He gets passed and gives everything he has to get close enough to take out the rider before he gets away.....so if you are okay with it then he is smarter...

Yep, Tomac, doesn’t need to do any block pass or play dirty because he is simply faster. Best race ethics and deserves the podium topstep. The rest all play games, because they are all similar speed and need too to get what Tomac leaves behind.

Gotta be prett frustrating for the entire field when there is a blue yz450f with a #3 Red plate making the rest of the riders look like kids on pw 50s. Actually pretty comical.

Barcia is frustrating as fuck but you can't be upset at that pass, it's supercross... and on Anderson no less, who in Karma terms probably has a good few more coming to him.

The cause of Anderson going down tonight was Anderson. Pretty simple. Not saying Barcia's move was all that great but he didn't take Jason down. As Eli said though, "Have you ever passed anyone clean???" Truth.

I don't know... Don't like Barcia, but I'll allow it. Anderson looked like he was staring straight down his front fender. Seemed somewhat avoidable. It's also Barcia... Anderson gave him 30 feet of track to his inside to work with. Funniest thing Barica ever said was "Barely!" to Tomac 2 years ago. I still laugh when I think of that exchange of words.

Exactly. also watch Jason's head. He literally never looks up. I always thought these guys were taught/trained to look ahead? I really dont think Barcia expected to take him down. There were a few passes in that corner throughout the night where the outside rider had to break late and swerve and the inside rider was even closer. Barcia cut to the very bottom and IMO Jason had plenty of time to adjust had he been looking further ahead than his fender.

"turned down early" - I seem to remember another incident with Anderson where everyone blamed Mookie for turning down early. Not sure if you meant that irony but that's what I get out of it.

I feel like the difference between 51 and 21 is that 21 makes these moves to move up a position, 51 does it as a last ditch effort to hold on to the spot he just got straight up passed for.

I’m as big a Jason Anderson fan as there is. I’m frustrated but I don’t think less of Barcia. I was very impressed with Barcia overall and thought this was the best we’ve seen him in a while. I just wish Jason didn’t fall as that would’ve made for a better race.
