Man that looks like it was a hard crash. The kid is pretty tough. I think he would do a whole lot better on a 450

Scary. He's lucky he didn't break his neck on that one.
4/12/2011 9:00pm
Is that the one that broke his knee brace?

Tough kid to still come out and try to qualify.
4/12/2011 9:02pm
Look at the stupid flagger - he is standing off the track where the riders cant see him and seemed scared to do his job.

Yeah, that practice got red-flagged. They completely modded the little roller jump exiting the turn before the bigger jump, as well as the second jump before the final 450 practices.

O thats where that double w/ the super steet little kicker on the face of it was in the main event. That looks a lot different from practice geeze. Good to see Malcolm was ok after that.

WOWSA!!......Man , that Malcolm can take a hit! Man that looked like it hurt! Glad he is ok. One thing , if he figures out how to keep it on two wheels , Malcolm will go far in this sport. He amazed me at the first East coast round with his speed , and he seems to be getting faster.

Damn , I'm still cringing from watching that!

why do they make life and limb threatening jumps like that? looked like the face of it was very steep, not unlike the one that claimed rv last year. poor kid bounced and rebounded like a fucking basketball hitting the court

That was ridiculous. Cant even watch it more than 2 times without feeling pain myself.

I no everyone is sick of talking and hearing about it but im going to be "that guy". Who thinks the outcome (him being ok and healthy) would of been the same if he was wearing a neck brace?

Looks like his bike almost hooked him up and threw him in the air like that.

I think he landed more on his back/shoulder/ribs and not directly on top of his head so a leatt wasn't needed
(if you believe they do or don't work)

the kid has crashed at almost every single round, and you think a more powerful bike is the answer?
I personally think another year as an amatuer would have done him some good.

nailed it.. That was my first thought when I read that, then i thought about how bubba stormed the scene in his first year indoors and out. Got wonder if it is a: the pressure of being a "stewart", or B: Some sort of common thread between the two. maybe a training partner, trainer, etc that likes to push riders really hard. Like a mini dad on roids.

They changed the section before the final 450 practice and I was told by a couple of lites riders they did not tell them they had changed it.
