Can we talk about all the warnings to be prepared for 90 days of no power or supplies. no utilities or services like the Wild West ? Or no ?

I don’t know but people are running with it. I’ve heard all kinds of excuses and theories like political unrest, cyber attacks, supply chain issues, extreme weather. Makes me think that it’s just one of those topics that news snatches onto and everyone propagated it 🤷🏼‍♂️  not a bad idea though to be prepared with a few days of supplies regardless.

Had a very interesting conversation, two weeks ago, with someone nearby who is recently retired from H.S.

"Think about what would happen in a long term power outage" was one of the topics of conversation.

The "unvetted" was another.

There were others.

Just sayin'.

Costco was out of water bottles a couple days ago. First time I’ve seen that, ever. I’ve got our camper in the driveway and a Honda generator, enough propane to last awhile. Some edible stuff planted.  We could do 30 days. After that I start shooting pigeons and fishing. 🤷‍♂️

Back in August, I had to go eight days without power due to the fires that ripped through our properties… it was a good test for my generator, which Powers my well and refrigerator and a few lights…. I’m not a prepper by any means but last year I bought a 5 gallon pail of rice and 5 gallon pail of beans…. My pet cattle may no longer be pets if I have to go longer than a week without meat!!

The first I’ve heard of it was just now on Vital MX non-moto. I guess I’m out of the loop, right where I want to be 😂

So "they" are telling us before "they" do it to us?

This is the first I have heard of this and now because I clicked on Vet57(no shade to you Vet) link Youtube is going to barrage me with clickbait fear mongering videos. 🙄

I've been hearing this doomer talk for decades. Still, it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

Always keep in mind that when it comes to the news and media, you’re getting A story, not necessarily THE story…🤔

a couple weeks ago there was a little talk of a looming toilet paper shortage. Never saw anything different in my local stores so out of sight out of mind here...

I know nothing about whatever the current scare is but it's apparently moving product. I've had Amazon subscribe and save for these for years, get 2 every 6 months, they show up and I add them to the shelf in the basement. Got regular shipment about a month ago but all sold out now.

Yeah, no. I used one for the first time in Vegas this past summer and I felt violated. To hell with that thing. I felt like it owed me dinner.

Yeah, about 8 or 9 years ago my wife and I were in a Japanese restaurant on Waikiki and all their toilets had bidets. 1 out of 10, do not recommend…..

those are doggie drinking fountains. for taking care of business after last night's Mexican combo plate? Fuhgeddaboudit! You'd still need 1/2 a pack of Dude wipes to get clean.

Probably because of all the flooding down there is why CostCo Is low on water Sum. I wouldn’t put too much stock in all this , notice in that video that the guy cuts in to get people to download his app to get all the good info 😊. Fear mongering and a money grab is all this is . It’s always good to have a decent supply of water, TP, food and some cash, but that should be standard in every home.

It doesn't really matter if it's a tornado, flood, earthquake, meteor or alien invasion...having some water and food that doesn't need cooked is a no-brainer.

Hey Sum I was in CostCo this morning. They had bottled water , but not the standard Kirkland brand that’s 389 a case. They only had Arrowhead brand and it was over 7 dollars for a case. I was surprised because I was there last Friday and they had tons of the Kirkland brand for 389. IMG 7577 0.jpeg?VersionId=H.WL9zyNKvl
