Our first one is scheduled to ship September 28th for now.

The plant got hit by an earthquake again so it may be a problem getting one after this first run.

It was a heavy tremor, nothing effected the plant.  5.9 is not going to cause a lot of damage.

Anyone get one yet?!

Dealers I have talked to say they have not even placed an official order yet....they are saying at least 2 more months.

It should be the same for every dealer in the US.  Dealers on the coasts usually get them first just because of logistics, but they should all come from Japan in the same time frame.

There is a delay in Japan, but some have made it out before that delay. A lot of the first batch have been press/race teams/demonstrators but there are a few dotted around.

Here in the U.K. it’s around 2 more weeks before we see them, WE is January!

A bit of a shaky start to shipping then.

It’s comical that the ‘27 450 (238 lbs) weighs almost the same as the 250 (234 lbs). I wonder when they’ll apply the weight savings to the 250?

electric start has added to the weight gain, as well as using the 450 frame for the 250s. are bikes today really better than the pre-electric start era? they were certainly lighter back then, suspended similarly, even power similar.....

electronics better today

It seems that the 2027's have been added to the recall bulletin that had to do with the handlebar mounts. Purely a guess but I'd say they are held up in the warehouses until the clamps are checked out. Or they could just be behind.

I rode a CRF450 a couple of weeks ago, after 10 years out. The last bike I rode was a 2012 KTM300 2 stroke. The CRF was lightning quick but jeeez did it feel stiff & heavy and wore me out. Even pushing it to the start line was hard work, and as for getting it on a box stand.. 😬

My local dealer(and one of the largest MX dealers in the south) wasn't getting his first one  until later this month. I think it's more likely they just haven't arrived yet.

Was told a week ago they are shipping the 25th of this month and ETA is around the end of month?
