What do you pay for practice days?

The Supercross ticket thread got me wondering what you all are paying for practice fees throughout the country? A new track opened here in FL and practice is $60, discounted to $40 if you pay $30/monthly for a membership. Other tracks are anywhere from $15-50. Where are you located and what are you paying?

$40 for a perfectly groomed and well-watered and prepared track with a trained medic on-hand with grouping based on size/skills. That is the going rate for the good tracks anywhere within 2 hours of Knoxville, TN.

The avg rate around here seems to be $50 now was $40 until this like past year. And that doesn't include any gate fees

Depends, but usually between $30-$40 here in N. Illinois. Maybe more for the first ride to cover the yearly membership. Many tracks are also going to a spectator's fee, $5.

Houston area average $40-50 with gate fees. We all know it isn't the tracks fault. It cost a tremendous amount to maintain a nice facility. With three boys who all want to ride plus myself it simply isn't a financially sustainable sport even for weekend warriors anymore. To the woods we go.

New Jersey E-Town $60, Millville $70 with a $10 off next ride within 30 days , Pa Sleepy Hollow and Dutchman $40.  Guess NJ has higher costs to operate .

Here in SoCal, Glen Helen is the cheapest at $35. I think Fox is still $40 and all the other tracks are charging $50 as far as I know. I'm really surprised to hear they're charging $60 in other states.

Local city has a free motocross track at one of their parks, yes it’s really free. Any prepped tracks $40, less when not prepped. Cincinnati, oh area.

Around DFW its usually $35-40, but until last week the area went about 3 months with out water, some areas have water restrictions.  I know some tracks were closed, others just were not watering, so I am not sure what the current prices are.

The French tracks are cheap. If you are a member as little as 10€. But normally 15-25€

The Swiss are 30-40CHF.

I have ever ridden only once in my life on a freshly groomed track. They usually just prep once a year.

Perris is $40 for Wednesday nights, $50 Sat/Sun days.

I think Cahuilla is still $40 also. You can prepay 4 ride days and get the 5th for free, so technically $32 each.

$35. I've only seen it over $40 when gate fees were included for a race weekend.

Oh nice, Cahuilla is only $40? I haven't been there in years. This year I think I've only rode Perris, GH and Fox. And yeah I forgot perris is cheaper on Wednesday nights. Wednesday nights there are so much fun.

A spectator’s fee is fucking ridiculous. Nothing but greed.

Cahuilla was $35 when I went there last in January, maybe they finally bumped it $5.

So far here in MN. it's been $40 with a $10 gate at Staples, $40 at Trax North and Kingston, $45 at Meadow Valley.

You know what's crazy?

A local track was charging a $5 SPECTATOR fee for practice days!!

They lost their asses and stopped but what in the actual f**k?

EastFork (Plessingers Place) is $40 for full prep, I usually only ride the woods so I get a discount😎

Tomahawk in WV. $100 yearly membership and $40 practice days except $25 last Wednesday of the month. $60 without membership.

Budds creek has open practice every now and then $50 with a $5 gate fee.

Here in OH it’s $20-40 depending on the track. We’re lucky and can privately rent our local track at for $55 a rider and it’s maxed out at 40 riders for 6 hrs. Fully prepped & watered. Some days a mid day rewater or quick prep if needed too. I like those days the best. Low volume of people and no sessions. Plus it’s all of our buddies riding at once with a 25 min drive for me. It’s a win win!

Where is this free moto track?  I get down that way once in a while and I’d like to see it.

Went to Red Bud a couple weeks ago.  I think it was $10 at the gate and $45 to practice.  Well worth it.

My local track (8 min drive away) is $25 for the main track and $10 for the mini track.
Open Wednesday after 3.00pm and Sunday’s from 9.00am.
Most other tracks are $20-30. There is a free track about 20-30 min away but it’s basically a pit bike track.
I’m down here in New Zealand where the majority of tracks are maintained by volunteers and run by non profit clubs.

What are your thoughts on Sleepy Hollow and Dutchman vs. the Jersey tracks? I've only been to E-Town, Milville, and Pagoda.

Up this end of the country (Auckland) it's $30-50 for a practice day. I haven't been further north for a while but it was much the same.

In New England almost every practice track is $50 on weekends. Some are $45 weekdays or if you show up within 2 hours of closing.

Speaking of free mx tracks my cousin lives in a small town in New Hampshire that has a publicly funded gated private track. You have to be a town resident to ride it and there’s almost always a cop or security guard at the gate checking. From what I’ve heard it’s a little small but the fact that it exists blows my Massachusetts mind.
