I’m not suggesting there was 105k in attendance. I’m saying it looked like more than 45k. That hillside was huge and packed shoulder to shoulder from top to bottom both Saturday and Sunday.

Man I'd say there was easily 100k here today.  It's a big place and every square inch of dirt had people standing on top of people.

I thought yesterday was busy and they probably close to doubled it today.

Webb was far and away our best finisher and to be honest he should have been our worst. He really stepped up. He rode amazing and got great starts. To do that on a new bike with no time is amazing.

Thanks to kitchen and beaumer for giving it their all, huge respect for doing what so many others ducked away from.

Expected JuJu to be the weak link, especially not getting to ride the race bike until Saturday. Really think Levi should’ve been put on the 450, he’s been over riding the 250 all year and definitely needs to move up to 450 class. That would’ve been our best chance but thanks to all 3 of them for stepping up when no one else wanted to go.

Not a chance, the organisers said last time was 29,000 on race day and they weren't expecting the crowd to be as big this time as last .

Its not a big place, that crowd at Matterley would look sparse.

Infront's figures count everyone in and out every day, its not a true attendance.

It looked busy, but 35K tops .

Pure InFront propaganda. As usual.

For most of the moto there was a gap between Forato and Kitchen.

Forato closed it down and, within a few laps, had made the pass. We didn’t even see the pass, so suggesting Forato was pissed is a stretch - and Webb trying to turn it into a “target on our backs” thing is serious cope.

His pass on McLellan was on the broadcast.

What’s the prognosis on Lucas’ injury? Seems like it’s dragging on. Hell of a ride for those guys.

You never wanna hear nerve damage. Nerves get better when they feel like it. Meanwhile the muscles atrophy rapidly from the nerves not firing

Not a chance, they calculate fri-sun.

So more likely 5, 45, 55.

Or whatever

As someone who’s done a lot of MXON’s I’d say this is the best one yet. The fans were awesome and there was a hell of a lot of them! I’m not sure of official numbers but it was a lot more than the 40-50k people are mentioning. There’s a lot of places that you couldn’t see spectators on tv plus all the vip marquess (which in my opinion was far too many)

The track was brilliant but they have mixed in loads of topsoil so it’s not the hard pack clay it used to be and more like walking on a mattress (when we walked it)

If you’re across the pond you need to make the trip! You will be welcomed with open arms and probably not get much sleep but it’s worth it!

Is say no more than 40k spectators but prob 30k. Nearly everyone on the hill brought a folding chair & took up x3 the space. One french granny was very protective of the 3 square meters infront of her & refused anyone standing there so she could stay seated the whole time. They should ban chairs from half the hill & make it standing only.

I have no idea how many spectators they had but it was well attended. The crowd looked very active as well. Apparently yelling so loud you could not hear a bike behind you if a French team rider was nearby.

That’s impressive

Congratulations to Team U.S.A. you all rode great for your country.

Btw, did you know that there were 1300 volunteers that made this event happen?

The Belgian press is saying 30k people on Sunday. People have really no clue what 40k or damn 55k people look like... I've been there and to be honest that hill in Ernee isn't that massive as it looks on TV.

Just block the guy, take him out, fight or at least make it look like you are fighting so keyboard warriors like me wont bash you on the internet. It's not a championship where you can go for a second place to salvage points.

France are done.

Lucky enough to be there this weekend with my 2 youngest boys.  To be standing on that hillside with 100k French fans and see the reactions when Valin, and the Vialle absolutely yardsailed was pretty wild.  It was just aaahhh, oohhh, and then right back to cheering the riders they still had racing.  Then, after moto 2 I expected a bunch to leave, but nope, they pretty much all stayed to cheer on Romain Febvre.

That said, I am not unhappy France had a bad day and to be there for it was pretty nice, lol.  Excited for Belgium.  Also, Cooper rode really well in the deep ruts and, took lots of insides.  This was a good track for him.  Kitchen was riding great until Forato took his front wheel off (mostly accidental), Julian was fine, you could tell the bike tired him out.  Glad all 3 stepped up, they should be pleased with their efforts!

I feel like karma stepped in for Belgium, especially the Coenan Bros. They were on track to be world champions when bad luck intervened. This race set the record straight for them. To win the overall without winning a single moto or class is saying something about the bad luck transferring to their competition.

Just a great event always regardless who wins, and a great event this year, really enjoyed it. Credit to all the riders, and much respect to the US guys who made themselves available under less than ideal circumstances on short notice.

He hasn't been racing for months. Tried to ride in July was it, couldn't?

If he it still this bad, that doesn't look well for SX 2027. He needs to start riding like tomorrow to be ready.

My guess he sits out SX 27, aims for outdoors. Unless he can have a surgery to fix it with minimum downtime. Nerves csn be like 2-8 weeks.
