I as well. In my opinion, there aren't too many 2 strokes that can't be made way faster than stock. So, if that is what everyone is so uptight about, it will be fixable. Furthermore, the main consumer, that Kawi is targeting, wants a slow 4 stroke type power in a 2 stroke. It sounds like it will work for 90% and the other 10% can send their motors off and get them modded. Way cheaper than the current $20k motors I hear about.
As a side note, to the previous poster. I agreed with most that you wrote. But the EPA can never go after the race only bikes. Unless Congress actually passed a specific law. So that we don't have to worry about. I'd personally like to see a US company build a competitive 2 stroke. Tired of all these bikes coming from other countries.
Never owned a Kawi and I have never been a fan of them but this bike looks sweet, and it sounds good in the video clips but the injected 2 strokes never quite sound a s "raw" as a carb 2t, they usually sounds kind of loaded up which I think is what being are keying in on. I do worry about the fuel injection portion as a guy that works on tpi and tbi Huskys and deal with their random and odd sensor issues, runnability etc.
This is the reason I still happily kick start my yz250
That is not very 2026 of you!! Lol.
I’ve noticed that all fuel injected 2 strokes don’t sound right since they first came out. It’s like there’s a rag stuffed in the airbox and it can’t breath. Carson Brown recently posted a video of him riding a bike that came fuel injected, but had a carb conversion kit put on it. I think it was a KTM 150 and it sounded amazing. Very barky and crisp. I believe these conversion kits are for sale. I hope I’m wrong, but this new KX327 sounds like a stifled piece of junk.

You probably got those downvotes for the "stifled piece of junk" part lol, but I agree it sounds kind of.....weenie. Really I think it sounds lean and underfueled, but I also think that's a common deal with injected 2t's, which is probably why they go up a little more in displacement than you might expect for the average rider that will be buying them. If the bike feels like a torquey 265-285, then it's a win, imo.
Vital: Listens to new 2-stroke on phone speakers, thinks man this thing sounds like shit! Proceeds to diagnose fueling issues and power band characteristics based on phone speakers....
Sounds a little lean.
Vital: Listens to a a song on phone speakers and proceeds to name the time signature and key… Wait, that’s not so strange is it?
It’s all music bro 👍🏻
Is it all one song though?
The Beta 350 also sounded a little weak in that first video (with Neville Bradshaw). But you could tell in later videos that it’s a beast of a bike.
Listening to a motorcycle he has on order and can't wait to spend money on it.....
It's a 327. It sounds like a big bore 2stroke to me. Its not going to scream all over the place like a 125 or even a 250.
Good take. I think Kawi is going to do really well with this strategy
Already plans to buy a $1200.00 carb conversion kit before even getting the bike.
So the new KX450F is on due for arrival in October, but the 327 until December. Seems odd to me they would ship the 2 new bikes at 2 separate times
The dealer I purchase my 26 450 from Saturday said November. He had 12 mx versions with 8 being sold and 5 x models with 4 of those being sold.
So awesome
Has $83.76 net bank account 12-mo average and zero money in savings. Is expert on pipe design and knows better than anyone else that removing the silencer and not replacing it makes the most HP, and needs that extra HP to haul around the extra weight from eating one too many bags of Ruffles chips

I may be wrong but didnt ML say they, the media, will have a ride day before they are released to the public and that media ride day was uncomfirmed other than some time in December?
2027 KX450F/ KX450FX Arriving October 24th, KX327/KX327X Arriving November 24th, the month gap release is mind boggling.
Why is that mind boggling? Different bikes, different production runs.
My local shop has the 2027 KX250FX on the floor now.
As they should. The model didn’t change from 26. That has nothing to do with the 450 or 327 though:
Your right, just adding to the convo with the fact that some 27' models are hitting the floors. I'm still hopeful for December for my 327 but we will see!
My local shop still being a little vague about release date.. they say I'm top on the list so fingers crossed its sooner than later
