Jett has been my guy since A2 in 2020 I think it was.  His style was clearly head and shoulders above everyone else and I turned to my wife and said this kid was going to be a phenom.  He endoed through the whoops and broke his wrist and she thought I was an idiot…but turned out I wasn’t so wrong after all hah

Almost exact same situation for me (A2).   Then, I heard Hunter and Jett on the Whiskey Thottle Show.   I have been a fan of both (entire family actually) since that podcast.    Before that:  DeCoster, Hannah, MC, James, Eli.

I spent 5 months in 2019 traveling with the Lawrence family. My rider and myself were doing the outdoor Nats and we and the Lawrences would camp together and share resourses. It was then that I got to know how much of a good family they are. Dazzy is such a down to earth dude and is what I call a first class human.

Growing up it was Ricky Johnson, mainly because we have the same birthday, but different year. Now, I support the local riders to me, like Chase Sexton as he would fly by me on his supermini while I thought I was turning good laps on my 450. lol

For me it's going to be difficult to replace Tomac. Usually I prefer an underdog but Tomac historically being a bad starter and having to work his way through the pack most of the time equalized that out I guess.

Not sure who's the next "interesting" guy to follow. Everyone is pretty bland coming up.

I really admire the professionalism and respect that Deegz brings to the sport.

You don't have to have a guy to enjoy watching good racing, come from behind charges, and riders with skills mere mortals don't possess.

I think some people can watch sports without a rooting interest, but I can't.

If I turn on some random college football game, I will suddenly find myself rooting for one team or the other.

So when I watch moto, there's always a few guys I'm rooting for.  Tomac has been my main guy for about a decade.

My guys are Kenny, Kitchen, Shimoda, Sexton. I relate to these guys the most. Being a mid 20s head case on some level haha. Kenny being the best possible outcome of that, overcoming a lot of adversity and keeping things simple.

I also like juju and Davies in the younger crowd. Davies is a riot. His attitude is the best. The definition of keeping it simple. He won me over with the giant monster sombrero during the very serious military appreciation ceremony. Just a silly guy.

Minear is growing on me too.

Ryder D and Brown are on my list too.

I really like most of the guys out there. I'm really just a fan of the racing more than anything.

This year has reminded me...and I'm sure I'm not alone...that Jeffrey Herlings is simply amazing.

This last weekend was just a reminder.

Currently?  RJ Hampshire...  Just love the deep "never quit" attitude in him.

But he's getting up there in age, so I have been looking for a young buck to pick up and root for.  Was leaning towards Hymas, but watching Juju close too...

I think I like Magoo2 too...  Wink  Going to be fun watching that kid.

I scrolled through rather quick so I may have missed it but can't believe I didn't add Travis Pastrana to my original list and that he didn't show up in anyone else's list.

Kenny. Been a fan since he fell out of the sky at A1 2011. It’s been some up and down years, but I’m riding that 2026 supercross high as long as I can. Rewatching SLC still gives me chills, and anticipating his retirement is like getting a “can we talk later?” text from your girlfriend.

Eli. Not sure how I’ll feel come A1. I’m thinking it might be easier to watch races not being so invested in one rider. Just appreciate good racing. We’ll see..

450: Kenny, Prado, Chase

250: Hammaker, Jo, Ryder D

Also going to be cheering for both Coenens when they arrive.

To be honest, there are so many likable racers at the moment, I’m usually happy for anyone that gets a win. Even Webb is growing on me.

I was a bit that way when Zacho retired.  I like the fast guys too, but tend to cheer for someone not at the top…

Back in the day, it was RJ, just loved his style back then

These days, I always find myself routing for Sacha, he always gives it 110%, crashes and near misses and is no big deal to him, he's the most fun to watch and seems a good kid off the bike. If he's not allready won over the yank fans, then he will do when he goes over
