Ya idk about mechanics but some riders will hook up certain guys if they win a title. I was told Webb promised $100k to Ricki Gilmour if he won the SX title and was told he delivered on that promise.
Jason mentioned PRMX on Yamaha. But nothing concrete, only that they would like to have a rider like Sexton. (Edited)
Interesting speculation although not particularly ground breaking. It is also the perspective of someone who made pretty adamant statements about the level of certainty that Chase would be leaving Kawasaki. It sounds he's balancing the statements he's made with the fact that he might be wrong and is acting on an awareness that the things he says contribute directly to his credibility in the world of SMX media.
Chase will stay with kawi imo, nowhere else really for him to go. Hondas set, KTM wouldn’t take him back, STAR has Deegz and Davies in their lineup, Suzuki has Kenny, Chase has to make the best with what’s he’s got. Like i said before, I think he comes out firing for 2027.

back in the day all the factory teams had more than 2 riders. I bet he ends up factory somewhere, they’ll just make room. Wasn’t KTM looking for an American rider who can win? Well. He’s your best shot. Bobby Regan? He’s all for doing something like this. Honda? Probably not HRC but could he go to quad lock with factory Honda support? Maybe? Feel like they’d all at least entertain the idea to have Chase.
I agree with this. Add tedder to the list. If they're going all in and money doesn't seem to be limiting factor, why not the factory husky? The issue isn't whether he could find a ride, it's whether he can get out of his current contract. If he can, I'm sure he'd have a couple bonus heavy factory contracts to choose from.

Jason Thomas's recent company line diatribes supporting their poor decisions at all costs has ruined his credibility for me. I understand he has a dream job he has always wanted and is willing to do ANYTHING to keep it, including bullshitting fans. He seems like a decent guy, but bottom line is he is simply a mouthpiece for FELD, NBC, MXSports, and FLY or whoever else writes him a check. No different relationship than many of us with our bosses.
