Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
I didn't finish watching the race, myself. I find sloppy races like this one pretty boring.
Get ready for a sunny, dry and dusty LA this weekend. Fan fest opens at 6AM, Gate drops at 1PM pacific. Catch the fever.
How long do we think till SMX series is non existent? + or - 2 more years
Ever seen videos of some of those coatings that nothing sticks to? Why not treat the entire bike except for where you touch it with a coating like that?

Occasional mud races are fun to watch. Don't understand all the complaining. SMX was created to try and limit the success of WSX. It is just entertainment and for sure 'not' a world championship by any means. Still nice to have a few extra races to watch if you want.
Never been a fan of mud races. Nationals I expect a mud race or two. I don't mind a half mudder , Where the track is a least dry or drying out for 2 of the moto's.
SX mud races, I hate. Way to much risk of riders getting injured and being out for the season. I watched the races on replay as the weather was to nice to be indoors watching TV! SMX has yet to live up to the hype that feld has been pushing!
Was actually there and thought it was pretty badass for how it turned out with the conditions. Was expecting it to be a lot slower than it was, but they were hauling ass and was a lot faster than expected in such shit conditions. Glad they ran both mains. The SMX next class always puts on a good show as well. Always amazed at watching the Pro's and with it being the 22 best in each class, it wasn't bad in person!
When these types of threads pop up, it makes me think that there are a number of people who claim to like the sport of MX/SX that should really check out ballet instead. Usually the prep of the course/stage is fantastic and the competitors have the exact same conditions for every competition/performance........
they could do this but attendance is what theyre after and stadiums always draw more. and while they may be trying hard to find a 'unique' venue to fit the vision , theyre doing it at the worst time of year as baseball and football overlap during this period.
any venue that isnt a main one is gonna have issues like the drag strips, or nascar venues or is going to be in such a random spot its gonna struggle to draw ppl in which i foresee the final round having this problem despite local attractions
SMX is pretty useless all together. SX, national outdoors and MXGP is enough. All these have anyway too long season so last races doesnt make difference and most riders are just collecting pay checks. Less serious racing is what will make MX great again not more useless races filling offseason.
Every time somebody posts that theres no reason to ever pressure wash a bike I get the same feeling.
Bump
Same, I don't mind an occasional mud race. It takes a slightly different skill set to be good at it and I appreciate that. I don't think it was a great race, but not something that I would turn off or fast forward through. I like watching racing... Most any kind of racing, but dirt bikes first and foremost. Rain or shine, I'll be watching. And I'll be at the final, wearing Tomac swag.
If you bet on deegs you’re probably feeling like a genius, a madman even if you bet on him for the next race.
Smx next riders were sending it harder than most everyone except deegs huge scrub away from Roczen.
If you've race enough times in the bad mud you know this is what you get. If you can ride fast and loose, stay on two wheels mostly you look like Deegan, you fall, get your gloves muddy and tighten up, you look like Hunter. It just happens.
"SMX was created to try and limit the success of WSX"
How many times has this been refuted?
WSX was given the opportunity to exist in it's current form because of the creation of SMX, not the other way around.
Feld chose not to renew the FIM deal for US Supercross when joining with MX Sports to create SMX.
A lot of people seem to refuse to believe it, but the timeline of events all line up.
Hey bud... I got this primooooo bridge in Brooklyn that I normally would never sell, but Only for you, I might just let go of it for a cheap price.... I'll shoot ya my cashapp...
Moto Mudder, no problem. Natural terrain and sub soils for the most part lets the race happen. SX Mudder, eh…comical for the first ten minutes and cool seeing these guys still huck some of the big jumps but get uninterested fairly quick and like some have said, the race just becomes background noise and look up occasionally to see the running order and results
Pit Row
It makes no sense for Feld to let the FIM sanctioning partnership go if they didn't already have a plan in place.
They obviously knew that letting it go would lead to someone else swooping in and creating a new series.
The thing about the 250 class is definitely true with cole being at the top of the class now, but its also super weird. By all accounts from people who see him off the track hes super funny and goofy and has a great personality, and weve seen it a bit too earlier on in his career.
For whatever reason though a year or two ago he decided that hes going to completely lock it down on race day from start to finish and become an absolute statue. You saw it when the change happened too it was noticeable. I dont know if someone told him to do this or if he thinks he needs to do this to win, but it honestly kinda sucks. I dont think he needs to do the deegan thing and create a completely fake character, turn it up to 100, and act like an absolute bozo, but theres a happy medium he could be in where hes just being his goofy self and be a little bit more outgoing.
If he was just a shy guy like jo that would be one thing, but instead it seems like hes just doing this because he thinks he has to for some reason because there was a big change in his demeanor. The guys who used to completely bottle their personalities up in this sport would get burnt out super quick, so I hope he can learn to find a happy medium.
