Thats really cool. Make a Freddy Spencer replica track bike. Kawi has the retro 900 too. If Honda makes a retro V45 Interceptor (~1983) I will find the $.
If I was in the market for a new street bike right now, it's a REAL short list.
It's either this CB or a Kawi 900RS. The Yamaha XSR ain't it.
Honda has a cool retro inspired Scrambler SCL500 too

Beautiful bike!
I think it is still up in the air if this bike is coming to the US market. Can’t remember exactly what I read.
Suzuki also has the GSX-8TT
I really like the CBR version as well. Glad to see a couple of manufacturers bringing back the small capacity four cylinders. Might sound odd from someone who rides open class superbikes but the little guys make you feel lke a superhero.
Okay, I’m standing up for TM. Who downvoted his Italian mistress? She’s exquisite! We are kindred spirits floating in a Romanian dream.
Damn you, you had to one up me 🤣
That is a thing of beauty!

This was my first proper street bike late 70s
I saw one of those at cycle gear the other day and I had no idea what the f it was... lol.. but it looked reallyyyy good in person... just a damn cool looking bike... I'd own one if it came in a color other than black, and it doesnt... lolll...
when I 1st started looking at them 2 years ago there was an option for a kinda burnt Orange tank that looked way better. You could order some things to match like a "headlight surround" and there's a taller seat with brown cover and they all went together really well. I wouldn't buy it in Black either but considered buying the Orange tank, etc. & swapping out. Used the Honda dealer locator and searched for the model and I think 1 Orange 1 within 5oo miles of me. Would have been a full day roundtrip drive just to check it out. I've already got a stable of RD Yamahas I need to get back on the road so passed on adding any more until those projects are done.
Friend had one, borrowed it for a few days. Damn it was actually fun once you understood it. It's definitely on a very short list, for me at least.
No inline 4, no bueno...
But I had a KZ750 in high school back in the late 80s, so I'm biased. My best friend had a GS850.
Did he add the dual front disks? I didn't think they had them that early? My 77 KZ1000 had a single solid front disk.
Pit Row
A buddy of mine had one of those back then and let me take it for a spin . First street bike I ever rode . Eye opening experience for sure .
He did add them. They were a factory option you could purchase.
While the holes added cooling vs solid, they also wiped away the water under the pad. I had an incident where the disk got wet and the pad just floated on that thin film of water, oh shit moment for sure.

Honda's done some pretty good UJM retro over the years I think. (I actually don't care for either the windscreen or the rack but they make the touring part possible while not interfering with the sport part too much)
Suzuki too. Also why I love 400's so much.
I see a lot of cb360 to 550 four bikes customized like 1950,s bikes in major cities. Wicked cool looking bikes.
Honda CBX750. I bought a good used one in 1990 and eventually sold it in 2002. To this day I regret selling it.
Yep, my 1st street bike was a 1980 KZ750 that looked like this. I was not on the lookout for a street bike as I was strictly a motocrosser at the time, but this bike found me. It's a long story that I will not indulge here. 😜
I painted it gloss black, and it had a small quarter fairing and a Kirker 4 into 1 header. I loved that bike, my girlfriend and I at the time would go to the mountains or the beach wherever we desired.
It introduced me to street bikes, and I've had one ever since.
Mine was an '81. Came in gloss black with gold pinstriping, so didn't have to paint it. Previous owner drag raced it: Jardine 4 into 1 open drag megaphone, K&Ns slapped on the back of the CVs, rejetted, lower gearing.
Dumb 15yr old me just thought it sounded awesome and the neighbor girl across the street liked to ride on the back whenever I took it out instead of my TT350 (which really pissed off my girlfriend and her boyfriend). Loved that bike.
You were fifteen years old and had a KZ750 and a TT350!!!? 😲
Damn you were rolling, and I'm surprised you lived through that!
I thought the CBX designator was only for the inline 6cyl model?
styling looks a lot like this
I was thinking Ascot.
