They already done the videos. Not sure what the hold up is now. 

I was told media won’t get to ride it until November or December. I think that’s around when it’ll hit dealers.

I thought the first picture in this week’s Pit Bits was from a test of it and you should have interviewed the tester to get his riding impression!

They said at Loretta’s there was only (2) even made yet. Not many chances for ride videos with only 2 bikes in the world 

I think people are wondering about the RV ride video that has already been filmed at Ironman.

This is the most accurate assumption. Being as the only people we have heard great things from have been two guys who get paid by Kawi! 

Seems like a reasonable conclusion. Though I would refer to it as still in development. Last minute, yes, but still reasonably normal perhaps? Though as I write that, production needs to begin very soon for even a November or December delivery so everything needs to be finalized.

Honda didn’t let press ride the 450 WE and it was suggested they are still working the mapping. No idea if that is true…. 

November/December delivery presupposes about an August/September production timeframe at the latest. Possible, but they wouldn't be doing more development at this point. They can iron out any problems with technical updates and/or the 2028 models.  

Ha ha, judging from the photo it should lay down some sweet power in the sticky stuff.

I actually just moved over to a ‘26 WR250F after a decade of being on 250 XC-Ws.  I really wanted to ride something near a YZ250F.

You're not wrong. I was thinking only of tuning, settings, etc. Hard parts really should be done. Time flies…

I’d assume  they are tying to get the bike to run at a certain level. And it’s not there yet . If it was it would be all over the media 

It's FI so a few people will complain loudly that it's not fast and should have been carbureted and blah blah blah. Some people are simply happy complaining and getting mad, I just can't wait to ride this bike myself.

I normally wouldn't chime in on this, but I will clarify there are more than 2 of these bikes in the world. Not many more, but at the moment, more than 2.

Wouldn't it be neat to see Yamaha come out with a new 300cc + 2 Stroke.

They obviously have the efi technology from theirc 2 stroke outboard motors.

Add a magic button and and an electronic water pump and Cody Webb would certainly be completive on it.

If that audio to the video with Axel is real, that is a nice sounding 2T!

According to sources not to be named, they are still deciding between a green, blue or purple powerband. 

Still finalizing the Suzuki livery,  its not the first time they have shared a bike.

Glad to see they are going with a more sensible air filter design.

They should have had an AC9 segment showing him on an SX track. Hearing a 2-smoke skim a set of whoops is iconic.
