Why is Van Drunen competing in the MX2 class just to make up the numbers?
Why doesn't she race in the EMX2, where she’s a much better fit?

Live and let live. If there is a free gate in mx2 (which there are plenty) it is not a big deal. Taking potential quali spot from some young gun in EMX250 is a tiny bit more rude imho.
Do you not have to qualify for MX2? Do you just pay your entry fee and you can race?
I know the MXGP series has a hard time filling gates at fly away races, but I would assume this one would be packed.

It's crazy how much things can change in this sport. Just watching Adamo then, I had a memory of him getting lapped by Geerts when they were fighting over a world title in 2023, but at the moment in MXGP Adamo is up nearly 30 seconds on him

You do if more than 40 riders show up but if there isn’t, bring a wad of cash & you can ride a GP.
How does this track always seem to get a little faster for the second motos than the first?
Also, why do they keep bringing people into the booth with Malin? He really doesn't need it, it seems to throw everything off more than add anything.
Having a 40 rider gate at Emx250 and just 25 guys at Mx2 also feels kinda wrong, not gonna lie. Specially when there's a couple guys in Emx250 being capable of being top 10 in Mx2
If you’re running dead last and trailing by about three laps, you have no business in the GP—regardless of whether you’re a man or a woman. She wants to prove she can compete with the men, but she can’t do that in the GPs. That’s a noble goal, but she should pursue it in a class where she can actually be competitive; she might not reach the podium, but she could certainly ride her way into the top 15. And scoring a single point? That’s just for show—it doesn’t really mean anything.

With Lucas out thank god for MX2. I don't think they showed 30s of Jeffrey in MXGP because he was gone - no race there! Incredible racing in MX2.

Losing Lucas (thanks Renaux…) has crushed the racing. Would have been great to see if Lucas could have given Jeffrey some challenge.
