Approving the next 3 years of BNG most likely.
Trying out the BNG at the test track seems a bit extreme 😂
I seen him smashing a watermelon with a kickstart.
Easy guys.... He is absolute gold to them at the moment, plus he has proven loyalty to them.... They are up to something beyond BNG. Besides, even if they decided not to drop an all new scoot in the next season or so, the old 450 still looks great after all these years, and still wins..... Older , proven, and slick beats new and flashy any day of the week. Cuss all you want.....
BTW,,,,, It is fucking rad to see him having this much fun! So glad he did not burn out, and fade away. God bless that man, he has earned all of this.

How cool would it be if he had a lot of input in the next bike. He seems to ride very neutral on the bike. They don’t need to reinvent the wheel. Just massage what they have.
Imagine how crazy it would be if they did release a new 450 and 250.
Excuse my ignorance but what is a BNG? Also, as a straight married male with children I have no problem saying I LOVE Ken roczen !!!
Bold New Graphics. Manufacturers would use that term for "updates" on model years with minimal changes
Burly
Nude
Guy
Bloody Nice German
Really just focus on weight loss, e-start, and new bodywork. Just like the yz250, no reason to try and chase the stability vs cornering flip flop other manufacturers are always doing.
Bangers N Gravy
Kei trucks are awesome. I wish they were easier to register here.
Thanks!
That post deserves it's own thread in the Hall of Fame.
Roczen and his team pulled a rabbit out of the hat and it's a blessing for every Suzuki fan around the world.
The Japanese recognize what Roczen pulled off on a somewhat outdated platform and I have no doubt that these guys are gonna reward every Suzuki fan around the world with upgraded models.
We need Suzuki In MX and SX. Kenny and his team just made that happen.
"Ok Ken, here's the new RM250 we've told you about..."
Ken should hold up a big 350 2 stroke pipe with fuel injection wiring, and type braap! Can you imagine the buzz?
Pit Row
Rmz350 with kyb is the answer.
I’ll swap out my kx327 deposit for one in a millisecond.
I still think the rmz really needs estart, but that’s basically it no?
The rmz makes a very compelling case for the rest of the OEM’s to slow redesigns and keep current models for longer by a decent amount. If it takes a season or two to really dial in a specific bike it makes a lot of sense to be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor vs being slapped in the face with a new bike/massive project at the end of season 3 imo.
Now see, not only did this kickstarter destroy the competition it will obliterate watermelons!
THey put the second generation RMZ out in 2007 as a 2008 model. And then in 2018 they revised it to what we have now. With many less visible changes throughout all of the years and those models. Even a new frame at one point that reused the same bodywork.
But the last 2 generations have been done on 10 year cycles. I would love to see them keep the current chassis and maybe update the bodywork , add some more power and an electric start , keep the weight the same as it is now or get it to drop some weight.
For the average rider, just putting an electric start onto it would be enough. But changing bodywork seems like it's needed so people can think the bike is drastically changed. Its cool to see companies like R-tech and Polisport making plastic to revive the looks of older bikes and give them current style. I'm surprised that there hasn't been one done for the RMZ with so many years of models that it could fit. Must not be a big enough market for it I guess. R-tech has started to make restyled plastic kits for Surron's and some cool rally kits for Kove and Yamaha's. Wild to think there is a bigger market for those than a restyled RMZ. Maybe that's saying something that Suzuki is listening to.
An electric start alone would likely attract more of the play riders and Vet's . When Your out play riding and starting and stopping to chat with buddies, that electric start really comes in handy. Most of the time a kickstart is all that's needed on a Pro's race only bike. Unless you fall or stall, You start it a handful times over the entire day at a race. But the average guy buying a bike likely starts their bike much more often and when out with buddies on an RMZ and You have to kick it, while they are hitting that magic button. That might just be a bigger reason than many think that fewer RMZ's are out there than other brands.
My buddies that are local Pros have changed brands because the RMZ didn't have enough power for them. One rode Suzuki's from when he got onto 80's right up through the ranks , raced Nationals, then the 30+ class, the 40+ class, and finally changed brands after riding the 2018 generation RMZ for 2 seasons. He's on a KTM now and loves them. Funny thing is that he gets bikes twice as often, and had to buy the cone valves and spend a bunch on suspension to feel as comfortable as he did on his RMZ with FC having gone through it and putting the 250 shock on it. But he was getting pulled on straight's and hills on the RMZ. And wanted the power without modding an engine. I don't know that the power would be an issue for most of us though. But for some guys that is an area it lacked in.
I bet that we see a"new" RMZ450 for 2028. It would be cool to see one raced in the MXGP's or have a Factory edition made that Kenny could ride in SX in 2027. I hope thats what the visit is about.
Would love to see him do at least one national, think he could probably podium off the couch in this field
I think the team installed e-start on hos bike in testing but ken did not like the added weight. Thats what i heard. There where also pics of his bike with e-start.
The factory will probably do it better though.
New engine that weighs the same including the starter and Kenny would "stamp it".
Still though, I'm a smoker and would go with the KX327.
I thought it was pretty cool when he rode a 250f at a national a few years ago
Even the cheapest low-quality Asian scooters have electric start. It's just a motor, a few wires, and a battery—nothing complicated. Suzuki is perfectly capable of doing it.
But to add it to an existing design, it’s also:
-new case(s)
-wiring
-battery (and anything that needs to be changed/relocated to accommodate it like seat, airbox, subframe, etc etc)
-internal gear(s)
-weight savings elsewhere if weight is a concern
-placement of parts to accommodate weight distribution concerns
-etc
We could only hope.🤞🏻
New RM 357 smoker!🙂
