It's time... We know your design team works hard, and it's not for a lack of effort. The designs just aren't good. It's time to replace some personnel. Dealers have suffered through enough closeout, and while this MX27 launch is a slight step up from MX26, it is still simply not cutting it.
I switched to rydco and have been pleased.
I wonder who is at the meetings saying- “Yes! This is the cutting edge look we have been going for.” Year, after year, after year. 😆
They’re better than Thor, I will say that.
My main issue with Fly is that it looks really good with all the sponsor logos and rider name/number on it, but isn’t great when totally blank.
It still better than the Thor Cat’s debacle.

It's depressing to look at their new line up..black and white seem's to be the theme
I like the gear okay, but I wish they had some better options for graphics on their helmets.
i honestly dont know if the new gear is the old gear and vise versa. Just like troy lee these days, same shit year after year.
Jt makes it seem phenomenal top tech material
Atleast they're not still putting fishnet inside the pants.
Who was the first company to stop doing that? I'd like to support them.
Did you mean RDRCO?
Couldn’t pay me enough to wear that at my local track
Electric Shock Peacock was from 2009 or 2010.
A lot different than their designs now.
That happens a lot. Fox pro circuit is another example.
Idk man, I think this design looks absolutely killer. I just wish they had like 2 more color combos. Why only 1 color combo for the coolest design?

Maybe I'm alone but I thought their designs this year were some of the best on track, except for the red, white, blue or white, blue, green shit that made them look like fat chodes haha (Did zero favours to Webb haha)
But I'm pretty easily pleased my favourite gear of all time is the original blue and black Shift gear
Edit: But looking at the release it seems from the gear chosen to highlight maybe that's all out the window haha
It doesn’t seem like they have people who’s full time job it is to be designers. The designs come off like someone does it as a side job, did it late, and was rushed.
By far the worst looking gear I’ve seen! Fly was great back in 2010-2015
Pit Row
I cant say anything, im out here buying MSR on clearance.
Me too though but I have an msr white/gray helmet that actually looks DOPE
FLY is good!
Twitch’s DBK line is the best looking Fly gear out there, that’s saying something
Just took a look. Woof.
It looks like the standard gear a rider gets in a video game.
Try our new lite line for those hot summer days, now available in black or charcoal gray.
It'd be cool if they did a run of the Decoster tribute gear the Coenens were wearing. The Evolution or Lite line in particular.
it aint just fly, it feels like the last couple of years gear companys havent done that much cool stuff. 10-15 yrs ago i got excited to see new releases and would see a bunch of good ones from each brand, and now it feels like theres maybe 1-2 good designs with a color that works. and the more annoying is how many gear sets are black based, one company has 4 ''different colors''...all black except the logo was different.
idk, overall the color palettes used are just bland across a lot of brands
To this day I don't understand the big hoopla about this gear. As I recall it was just a joke made for Musquin and they decided to sell it, like damn, how dare they make some funny meme gear for my super serious sport!
I like this kit well enough, but it's kinda ruined by the giant fly text across the chest. Yeah man, I know what the fly logo looks like. You don't need to spell it out like that. Also, they play around with the styling of the fly text way too much and never really establish an identity with it. There are like four different styles of it in this release alone if not more. This example is the best one, but still.
This pretty similar fox jersey doesn't smack you in the face with the brand as much. It lets the logo speak. Fly has been around long enough to do that too. Obviously fox has the benefit of immediate recognition with their logo. You look at it and think, "that looks like a fox", but Alpinestars doesn't have that. You don't look at their logo and think "yup, that's an alpine star for sure". Plenty of astars kits let the logo speak, and when they don't, they at least have designers that understand fonts and brand identity.
All of it from all of them is so bad, fox is one that has been pretty cool consistently
