you're such a danger fanboy you don't even realize your hypocracy......you use Lucas cutting throught the field as an example but it was the announcers saying he was great, not anyone here was saying he's the next Herlings. the announcers were also talking about d-bag the same way saying he was matching the bros pace when he was not. people here point that out and you dangerboyz go nuts because you think d-bag isn't getting love from the vital forum.
if he wasn't such an asshat, i would give him his due.....but i quite enjoy watching him finish way off the pace. at least he doesn't have to eat roost for long
It’s a fair point that the track was new to him, but he’s a sand guy and that still doesn’t account for the disparity that I mentioned.
It seems to me that if Haiden was just pressing through a weak field of old men, Lucas was doing the same, new track or not.
Why do these threads always devolve into the same handful of goofies going back and forth like fucking toddlers? Yes he is!" "No he isn't'!"
I would have won if i hadnt have lost.
I have led more laps than him this year.

Hold on…I might be wrong but didn’t Haiden just beat Jett for the first time this weekend? He never crashed while going full send but Jett did while trying to win a race by 10 seconds for the first time in his career? That one got me out of my seat not gonna lie
Credit is due for being 3rd best, it's a great achievement. But that's what he is... 3rd best.
Looking back, deegan never had fastest lap entire moto 1. Rj had fastest lap on lap 10……wow what an amazing ride by deegan, he was on pace with the leaders while going through the pack huh. Delusional
Deegan did have fastest lap on lap 14, look it up. The rest of your nonsense isn’t worth addressing since it’s already been shown to be wrong, and going over it is a waste of time because you will just be dismissive with a “delusional” or some other sophomoric reply.
At the end of the day all that matters is the end result and where a rider crosses the line. Everything else is bullshit. Deegan has some work to do to catch the Lawrence’s. But most moto enthusiasts would say going from last to 4th is a great ride. In fact a week earlier when someone else did it, it was Herlings 2.0. Others will just find any reason to discredit Deegan no matter what because their personal feelings clouds their judgement. The latter is the category that you fall into.
And you fall into the same exact category just on a different rider….delusional hypocrite is what you are. At the end of the day it’s still 0 laps led 0-14 and down by 15+ in every moto except 3
Deegan lives in the haters heads!
🤣These threads are always the same, Hilariously entertaining!
Wait until he shifts into third, then we're gonna see some racin'
if the top 2 guys are running 2:01s(im just picking a random number) and deegan is running 2:00-2:02 what do you want the announcers to say? "zomg danger douche is getting absolutely smoked... RIP BED BUGS amirite guys lmao, his dad uses botox, unamerican, cry baby". then would vital be happy?
My favorite golf saying... "If that was the green, I'd be on!"
Lap times lap time lap times. Who gives a shit?? Lots of reasons someone has a faster lap any one lap. Lappers, traffic, tip over, mistake, cruising a lead, ect…. Comparing single lap times shows people that have never raced. Heck…38th place probably beat Jett’s lap time while his bar was in his boot. All that matters is crossing first. Everything else is grasping at straws because even the finish being 20 seconds behind may have been 35 but leader cruised it in. I got to think anyone using single lap times has never raced. Even 5 lap times really doesn’t mean much. We all know deegan is close..ish…so some laps will be better. RJ has had fastest laps at times. Who cares? Deegs is pretty consistently being beat by 20 to 30 seconds behind with leader cruising it in. And yes…that includes Thunder Valley when you add at least a second per cheater line lap. I would argue that Washugal is his best/only chance to win a moto.
…btw…this was NOT what we were sold by the deegans and others at the beginning of the season….despite bed bugs trying to reshape what the narrative was. Doesn’t mean it isn’t a good rookie season…but….
Yes
What if deegan has a reverse perfect season and goes 0-22? Technically he still went perfect just in reverse. How does that compare to the greats. I dont think even RC or JS7 did a reverse perfect their rookie year. Where does that put deegs in the my rushmore of greats? Not many greats have ever done a reverse perfect rookie season before. I think itd just be jett and deegs, equals, just in reverse. $5 a bed bug will justify this somehow lol.
Deegan is fine and will get better.
I figured he would be a 3-5 guy tgise season and maybe sneak a moto win out.
The other brothers are perhaps 2 of the greatest ever to ride.
If those 2 weren’t here racing, Deegan would be having a great season then, also.
Pit Row
0-14 is rough after rip Jett
Is what it is. Im sure he will regret doing that at some point. We’ve all said or done stupid crap in our day. <<Jett stated he hoped to get to 72 wins after his first sx win>>. Of course he felt like a dumbass for saying afterwards. Im sure Haiden feels like a dumbass as well.. 🤷🏿♂️😂
I think it a testament to how fricking fast those Brothers are. He’s sitting 3rd in the points and been on the podium several times. So far he is doing great, especially being a 450 Rookie. I thought his first moto last Saturday coming up for a top 5 after that first turn was pretty impressive.
…and if MC had stayed on BMX bikes then Emig would have won a lot of titles….or Windham maybe. You race who is on the gate…and either you win or you loose.
"he is doing great, especially being a 450 Rookie."
Depends on who you compare him with. With other 250 MX champs that moved up? Then no.
Stat wise in the last 10 years the only upcoming 250 MX champs that did worse in their rookie years were Webb and AP.
Zacho, Cianciarulo, Ferrandis, Jett, and Hunter all did better in their first outdoor year.
But when you look at single laps you can say clever things like “he was the fastest rider out there” about someone who took longer to get to the finish line. Apparently, the idea that speed is distance divided by time is counterintuitive to some.
Good comparison. I forgot about Lucas going from last to 4th. It was definitely viewed differently.
I posted it in another thread, but I compared rookie seasons for several riders. I was surprised to see Josh Grant won an overall. I didn't remember that.

More winner winner chicken dinners than I thought there would be.
How many jumped up mid season from 250 and did it? Only Jett?
Well I'd say doing 250 SX is actually an advantage because they get more time to prep for outdoors. Chase, Jett and Deegan did 250 SX and then 450 MX.
Ferrandis for example did all of the 17 rounds of SX in his 450 rookie season with only 1 podium in SX. Then outdoors he blew the doors off everyone. Still mindblowing to me what he did that year. Kenny and Tomac didn't even look bad imo, he just straight up smoked everyone.
Yes ,but they weren’t racing the Brothers. You think sitting 3 in the championship and multiple podiums to this point isn’t great for a rookie?…..sorry I can’t help ya.
Going from 250SX to 450MX from the list I posted.
