For the people who keep saying Sacha is stupid for riding over his head and crashing. I don't think you are racers, and if you have raced, you probably rode around at the back of the pack and didn't actually race.
Sacha was not pushing too hard when he crashed. Jo crashed, Jett crashed, Hunter crashed, Craig crashed, Romano crashed, RJ crashed, Davies crashed, and countless others. Deegan almost had a big crash.
It's called racing. And often, trying to ride slower than your 'normal' pace is the surest way to crash.
Sacha and Lucas don't care about the world championships. They once said in an interview, it is all a learning experience for the real work in the USA.
Why would our guys be great or even train in the sand? We have 1 sand race out of 31 rounds in a year. Becoming a sand rider in the US would be worse for their career.

Something definitely a miss with rider development in the states the last 5 or so years. Other than HD who most of you all seem to hate, what standout American riders have come through the ranks in the last 5 years? It’s the training facilities. Has to be. Racers need to race.

Sacha loves this type of track, like Southwick or Kegums (where he wins most of the time).
The pro motocross 250 class does not have the speed of MX2 in the sand, even when it is not deep. Hard pack is more of a match.
A lot of youngster this season, the vet of that class are having a not so great season (Levi for example).
That being said, Cole Davies is a rookie, and he resisted Sacha for quite a bit while putting a gap on the rest. It is VERY impressive to learn these type pf tracks and put 1-2 seconds a lap faster than anyone by the end of the day.
1st moto Had many mistakes in the first corners, no one was able to capitalize. Over 30 seconds lead. 4 seconds a lap faster at times

He’s faster than any American 250 rider and it’s not even close and I bet his English spelling and grammar is better also.
we may never see him do a complete season of us motocross.

I think he’s cool the media Love him too. I think he gets more minutes on post race interviews than anyone. Probably because he describes everything in easy to understand details. I don’t know his weight but I think he’s too big for a 250f. Matty B lcq the 250 race was great . Doesn’t look like you could go any faster , #55 didn’t make the show finished 5th. Top 20 at sometime hv finished in the top 5 . Tough class this yr.

I Love it , Thx Bro. I kicked the bucket a few times from my 6-27 wreck. When I was rolled into icu aprox 30 people had there eyes wide on me & I got the look this one is a goner. From eye to my neck it was swelled up 2+ inches. Later on I found out my lung pumped my body full of bubbles . Still hv them in chest to gut. They yelled my name thinking I died. Pain & pressure is unexplainable 2-4 times I didn’t want to come back to my body. More pain meds in icu the head guy after a few minutes said give me ? I don’t remember what it was but i left my body again & they yelled my name. Then they hit my chest with a big needle to relieve the pressure. That pain & pressure release was nuts. Helicopters r slow , hospitals don’t like to give out pain meds anymore. I got 12 to go home after 5 days in trauma. Not enough for 2 days. 2+ weeks later pain is real bad yet , no sleep again lastnight too. I had a 1/2 Plus bone spur on top of my shoulder that’s gone . Shoulder is pushed down & in , rotar cuff is blow they say. Constantly moving you the 1st night bed to bed for test, etc. nobody in there right mind would do that for a million bucks. So I don’t blame riders or bag on them for racing themselves into more pain than death. To get a pass done. 100% my wreck was my new revalves fault . Shock hit a iron like peak under the deep dry sand . Like a pneumatic kick to the sky it rejected me. Hardest & quickest I ever excellerated, including a 1,200 hp drag car. Happpy spike from that to ejected, sucks .
Softer suspension with a looser grip on the bike seems to be working for the euros.
