Sacha has already made a legend of himself here in the USA with just two races. Feel bad for him, but he will probably brush it off as not a big deal. The irony is that it didn't really look like he was pushing too hard when it happened. Just one of those things. So great that they treated us with great riding by coming over.
Maybe they should try a Kawi? Worked for Chase. Or maybe a Honda? How many DNF's has Herlings had?
I think they are great for the sport and 27 will be huge especially outdoors.

My guy, have you not seen some of the mxgp races this year? I can assure you, he’s ridden that bike faster & harder in worse conditions. Not saying he wasn’t going his best, but he’s finished full motos being pushed by herlings. Those factory bikes can manage 35mins in the sand.

Well, if companies spend $$$ to get exposure, considering the exposure they get from the Coenen's decision to take chances (and maybe it did bite them a bit last night but in the grand scheme of things, they again scored big points), one doubts that their "boss" would be "pissed" (IMO they don't have bosses other than themselves anyway at this point). Huge kudos to these kids and their dad, yes they put themselves at risk but isn't it what our sport is about ?
KTM motos locking mid air… where they getting parts after banktrup? I would be pissed that failed parts almoat killed their star rider more than blaming brothers racing.
Who does the USA motors
The version over here are super reliable where as the Honda is costing Herlings a championship lead
Lucas wasn’t pushing 100% even coming through the pack. Going to USA between the GPs always had this risk
Sasha Coenen first moto send is insane, 10 sec lead 10mins in.
Almost crashes 5 times first lap.

Youre thinking of later more mature rc to younger sacha. When ricky was fresh on 125’s he crashed a lot. He also had massive feet off the pegs saves riding by the seat of his pants. He looks like 125 ricky.
Not pissed . It's about making money to those guys. To us it's a passion . Today those twins made millions. They made so many fans it's unreal. And when they race here next year they will cash in!
Yeh, I don't think many understand that they don't race directly for KTM over there. It's kind of like the Yamaha team here. Sure it's KTM but there is a team owner, that puts money into the team etc. also, regarding the comparisons of motors. I would say the motors are most likely different from there to here. Does the Euro motor hold up better? Who knows. It's possible. Like someone mentioned, Honda over there compared to over here.
If i were their boss Id be pissed. Lucas crash was avoidable. KTM has been so reliable for years & now 2 engine failures this season is not a good look. As for Sacha, the rumour is the rear shock was heating & contributed. Was it cochranes shock smoking in moto 1? & Vialle & RH complained last year the shock has serious issues.
Why does this only happen on the US bikes? It makes no sense.
I can only imagine how many motor failures they have if Tomac was out there pretty crazy the 450s are locking up and not the 250s!
Is it being reported at all what’s actually failing in the motors? Lucas’ couldn’t have come at a worse spot in the race. Jorge got lucky in Hangtown.
All I gotta say is I can’t wait for them to be here full time. Those kids rip!
How can anyone not love these guys? It's been a while since we've seen RC and Magoo style desire. Sasha is a treasure and I for one will appreciate every race this kid rides. Great kids, great family and an immense, uncommon desire to win. These guys will be national treasures over here!

Its a bit odd because james called a bike failure & in the post race interview Lucas said he couldn’t comment. So it maybe didn’t blow completely. I wondered if his first corner crash had led to the problems. Like getting a load of sand into the airbox or something
I'm just going on what I saw on TV but the back wheel wasn't moving and a Rider of Lucas caliber would have had that throttle pinned if he got bucked.
KTM America is just covering their ass as they should.
The Southwick track was super sketchy this year. The bros started riding it like they ride every sand track and immediately thought “Whoa $&!#%!, wth?!” And had to slow down and navigate a crazy slippery track. They tried pushing the edge in the motos and it bit em. Unfortunate to say the least.
It's not a great camera view, it doesn't show the beginning well, but by the time you see him clearly the rear wheel is definitely not turning.
You can see him twist the throttle to lock on the slow-mo replay but the bike doesn’t respond to it.
This shit is draining. Not even just moto but we as a society are just accepting blatant lies at this point. “Don’t believe your eyes” sure, okay. what the fuck?

He had a bike failure, but the track was still sketchy as h-ll. Not sure if the start fall was related - maybe, maybe not. Their boss was probably pissed to a certain extent.
OK, not really fractured clean in half, he had a broken fibula which carries very little weight (15%) and is more for ankle stability. For it to be broke clean in half the tibia would need to be broke as well. I know, I've broke both and was also told before surgery there might be a possibility they would use bone from by fibula to repair my tibia (bone graft). In that case they stabilize the fibula and you go on living your life and yes riding and playing sports.
But yea, Eli is a bad dude and my favorite rider.
US has different fuel, so the combustion chamber/ compression ratio and mapping will be different to the GP engines for a start.
And how many KTM group shock issues have we seen now? Lots! That issue too seems to be confined to the US.

Yea sacha on the first lap of moto 1 was like holy shit wtf is this! Lol. Was low siding high siding almost crashed 27 times, it was awesome to watch him save all those.
I just want to thank those guys for coming way way out of their way to race for us US fans. F ing pleasure watching them shred. Super stoked ktm and those brothers made it happen. Their speed is so unreal. I hope the injury’s are not bad and we get to see them racing in the US again this summer.
