If it's considered a penalty, and you do it 7 times, you get penalized 7 times. 

That ought to get his attention-well deserved as lap after lap it was a huge advantage never mind the acceleration after going off the track to stay in front of Hunter. Completely appropriate.

Gotta love the inconsistency from the AMA. Ignored it all of last year and 2024 every year, and decides all of a sudden to lay down the hammer on Deegan.

It seems they — and really the egotistical Mile Pelletier is always  always trying grab attention and make a statement with their penalties.

It’s obvious they are making it very harsh to attempt to make up for previous mistakes. The same way they did in SX by choosing to be lax one weekend then harsh the next.

That said I do agree with the penalty his tracking cutting has gotten out of control, but the reason he feels so comfortable doing it is because AMA haven’t done anything about it until now.

That has to be the AMA saying, " Here's a short, sharp, shock.  You got a long career...you ain't doing this".
