I see it and acknowledge it for what it is. You can twist it however you want, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to see it the exact same way as you do.
I’m not a fan of what he’s doing, but it’s pretty obvious that it’s worked for him so far. He’s making millions of dollars racing dirt bikes and I don’t honestly think he cares what any of us think about how he’s doing it.
Gosh, I sure hope Haiden doesn't win MX3 at the MXdN this year. His anti-fans would push his stardom to never before seen levels.

He kept Hunter behind him for the better part of the moto and Jett within a few seconds until he admittedly tightened up and got arm pump . Im not sure I’ve seen anyone besides Tomac or Chase do the same . Deegs being a rookie and accomplishing that while Tomac and Chase are seasoned vets says alot to me .

If the Deegans’ social media posts and antics got you hyped up or pissed off either way, that’s on you for taking personal stock one way or another in someone you never met. But all kidding aside, Deegan is doing phenomenal so far, albeit not as high level as he said he would be, not even close because Lawrence’s are dropping him by a longggg way each race. But I still believe he will get to a point of competing with Hunter, I don’t know about Jett though, very few have. But Jett has had a lot of injuries so he may jump on those opportunities, similar to Reed with RC & Stew.
I remember very very similar conversations after deegans first 250sx races.
I’m probably the biggest 38 hater out there. His rise is not over. He has the speed, fitness, and tenacity to run with those guys. The fact he’s going 3-3 to two of the best dudes on the planet aughta be enough to tell you that

I think it’s correct that he doesn’t give a shit what any of us think about him, but he cares a great deal about whether or not we think about him. The opposite of love isn’t hate, it’s indifference.
Unfortunately for deegs neither have the brothers. Wait till daddy Jett is back at 100%. Hunter makes big improvements every year. Your boy will be lucky to get another title if the brothers stay healthy

To be fair: he did fall back on “I’m just learning” and he’s not nearly as full of himself as he was pre-Pala.
All the while, he’s racing up front with The Brothers and then falling back and just riding it out. His on track tactics are pretty damn reasonable from where I’m sitting.
What makes me laugh the hardest is this: people seem to ignore the fact that he’s obviously adapting and learning. Between the OP of this thread and others that’re apparently blinded by “SM Thumb Hate”, too many of us seem to ignore the fact that he’s moved up to the Big Boy Club and he’s already “Running with the Pack” (©️ Bad Company, 1976).

Anyone else noticed Deegan just shaking his head after moto 2 btw? Despite what he or some people say, he is NOT happy with that result and definitely expected to win. It's pretty cool that they will race eachother their whole 450 career basically because I don't think Deegan is someone who just thinks it's the bikes fault like Sexton, I think he will grind, make progress and do anything to get better over the next years. Whatever the little cringelord says, the dude has grit, can't deny that. Add Lucas to the list next year and we will have some incredible battles for the podium every week.
No in his 2nd national he won, which was Hangtown, his best track. You don’t count those random races he did before that. Now his 2nd race he’s been straight dropped 20+….its not the same

You know I looked at the 2022 dates and races and knew something was wrong with what racer X had posted. I know He raced the last 2 rounds after LL and struggled a little but showed he had the speed.
for pretty much the 1st time in his entire racing career, he was right there w/ the leaders and got dropped like a bad habit. He knows it, and you know it. Yes he'll improve, but right now he's having to wrestle with the knowledge that "I went as fast as I can go...and I got smoked". Do I think he'll find more speed? Sure. But it's probably a pretty sour meal of humble pie for the young man right now cause there's no arguing that he was not in the same race as the lawrences.
Honestly I thought the track prep yesterday benefited Prado because it resembled the way MXGP does things. It wasn’t ripped as deep and didn’t get as rutty as it has in the past and the track was really fast.
Jett looked really good. But, Deegan has no quit and will no doubt get better, His second National and he's on the box. Pretty friggin impressive. He came through the pack also...so Deegs is doing just fine. If I were Jett, I'd be worried about this kid. He's going to win.
