Carson Brown?

Chucky Sanders?

Not doing the actual ' Hard Enduro ' ?

They turned up, and fulfilled their contractual obligations to both KTM, and , (probably) more importantly, to Red Bull.

Sanders is leading the World Rally series, and, that's his main job.

Carson Brown - well, he's got  (very) cool Videos to do - and, that's his main job.

I didn't see it tonight - so I don't know if Verona lined up for the Torture. But, his Main Job, is the World Enduro Championships - both his Class, and trying for the Overall.

All three did well in what one might call, the Exhibition Races. And, they are something to behold.

I ( sort of ) miss the utter insanity of when KTM and BMW raced their absolute Monsters in the Prologue. But, that was getting a bit bloody On The Edge of Disaster.

Well that sucks. I thought for sure he’d give it another go this year.

Mani isn't human. Glad we get to watch that alien ride a dirt bike on what isn't his home planet and Red Bull for the great event coverage.

No way were Chucky and Verona racing the main event. I can't believe Daniel was even upright, shows what a freak of nature he is. Just won the Argentinian Ruta 40 mere days ago, then books it to Europe to do the festival events at Erzberg before flying back home. Halfway around the world switching hemispheres and then doing it almost all over again to get home. Insane.

Most of the "Celebrity" riders from other motorcycle disciplines show up to ride the circus sideshow that is the prologue and call it.

That must be great, get paid to show up and ride that prologue and then get to hang out and watch the sufferfest.

3 of the 15 that crossed the finish line were on electric power!

How hard can this race be when a 51 year old starting in the second wave, on a E-scooter gets 10 place?

CB has ridden it twice before this year so it’s weird be bailed on the main event

I keep picturing a KX327 going through Carl’s Dinner and who will be on one.

That he (and others) did just the Prologue instead of the whole thing, tells you something.

He'd gone through the full torture ( both the previous times?), and, it seems,  did Not want to do it again.

Fair Enough.

My old Beastie, is predominantly a Hard Enduro / Tight Trails set up - see the Michelin X11 Radial Trials Tyre on the back, with a Gummy, Fat Knobby on the front, all the Armour, Tugger straps, Rekluse and LHRB / double lever set up,  and, the Fans and catch tanks.

And, the Extreme of my converting it to a PDS rear end, to minimize 'hang ups'.

So, I like hard, demanding rides, but bugger me, Real Hard Enduro Events - they are not a pleasant thing to participate in.

I Admire / am Dumbfounded by the Skills and Determination of these Fantastic riders, and, have followed Erzberg since it's inception, decades ago. And the other Hard Enduro events.

But fun, they Do Not look it.

Yeah really weird. In 2024 he made it to about 30% of the track, checkpoint 8. Last year he managed to make it almost halfway thru, checkpoint 13 ("how hard can it be" lol), I thought for sure he is trying to improve that

Jarvis got some good data for that little bike. The dude is an animal. Cool to see multiple Ebikes finish. I'm curious as too what Hart's issues with the chain were.

Oh yeah that Jarv-E is battle tested, no doubt if it can finish Erzberg it can survive everywhere, it's no Surron. Impressive.

The Stark alors shows it can do a lot of things right, winning Rocket ride, top 6 in prologue and top 10 in the race, solid performance for their first participation.

It's mad corny to race the prologue but not the main event.

Noteable mention to current Aussie Hard Enduro Champ Wade Ibrahim coming in at 20th. Mega job.

They should move guys up rows and fill to 50 per, if riders choose not to ride the main race.

I agree.  I also think past winners should automatically be on the first row regardless of prologue time.

I've been waiting for Mike's edit to drop. Easily the best video of the race.

Are you sure?  Didn't Jarvis qualify like 51st or 52nd last year or the year before and had to start on the second row?
