Very clearly Jorge was catching him late in moto 1.

I wouldn’t say HD is ‘clearly’ tye 3rd best at this point. I need to see more.

But you are right. Hard to say clearly after just one race. He looked very very solid though over the rest of the field. Can definitely make his way through the pack too which is something a lot of guys in this class struggle at

But this track was probably one of the worst tracks for Prado on the calendar. Relatively speaking very smooth, wide open everywhere, very little separation and a track prep that suits Deegans riding style better.

But i think the Lawrences will be 1-2 for most of the season and Prado - Deegan will fight for the 3rd place finish more often than not.

When is Prado going to be better? So far, that is not what we have seen.

There was a race last week at Fox Raceway

Premature ejaculation going on here...Deegan is exceeding expectations so far in my opinion.

Yes very much. The problem I have was the absolute certainty he was going to wax the field.

I can’t believe half the people on here can not see the freak Jett is.

No one will beat a healthy Jett for a title outdoors.

Not even Haiden once he figures it out, which he seems to pretty much have by round 2!

He’s got to work out how to beat Hunter first.

Lawrence fans keep moving the goalposts. He’s already running with them and a moto win is coming very soon.

An Aussie and a huge Lawrence fan, but hard to knock what THE DEEGS has done the past two weeks.

Has a long way to get to Jett's level, he is fair way off a injured Jett, but so is the rest of the field.

But looks to be the third best rider in the class at the moment, maybe equal 3rd with Prado. But was better than Prado today.

A lot struggle with eye test.

It's the same when Deegan was turning pro, anyone with eyes can see the kid was going to be good apparently not.

Running with them is a bit of a stretch.

Jett Lawrence just beat Donger by 29 seconds.

The only people moving the goal posts are Brian and Deegan.

They've spent the last couple of years making out Deegan is the natural rival to Jett, up to and including wearing a stupid t-shirt. Now he's getting smoked he's switched to the 'learning every week' 'these boys are fast' narrative.

Deegan fans are baffling. I sometimes wonder if they really know the sport. I've said for years Deegan will never beat Jett. It's not even a slam against Donger. Jett is the greatest motocross racer ever, it's as clear as day to anyone who's followed the sport for any length of time, including RV, Stew, BT, DV, JT, AC, JB and so and so forth. Oh, also The Professor and David Bailey. And The Bullet...

Deegan isn’t even in the same hemisphere as 18 and 96.  He’s got hundreds of miles to go.  96 was behind him and managed a gap for 15 or 20 minutes, learned, observed, yawned, passed, and then gapped the copulate out of him.  All with ease.

And 18 was even further ahead doing 18 things and he isn’t even 100%, even though his goggles say so.

Y’all 38 fans going to get tired moving the goalposts every weekend.

Jett went undefeated upon his debut in the 450 class, Deegs is not doing the same - really not much to debate. Deegs hype was just that, hype that made anything other than pure domination a failure. Not to discredit the fact that he is within the top five best in the 450 class right off the jump, which is impressive - but top five isn’t what his mouth an antics set as the expectation to the world. Jett had his competition covered from day one, Deegs does not.

Jett knows without a doubt its only a matter of time before deegan passes him and doesnt look back.

Anyone who follows the sport knows that he will 100% look back…

He seemed very humbled. I like the fact he gave them props on the podium.

He is learning to respect the top two.

Little man just got fed +15 seconds on both motos by the brothers.

And one of them had half a leg.

Ya, he’s fucked.

Rookie Jett wouldn't beat crippled Jett?

Jett’s posture right here is what inspired this post. We’ve only ever seen Jett’s motivation come from within. This is some Michael Jordan “and I took that personally” energy that Deegan unlocked.

As of now Deegan is 4-0 against the competition from Jetts perfect season.

That’s easy, the goalposts are about 20 seconds in front of Deegan.

I am curious to see what you guys will cling to next when he straight up beats one of the brothers  at Thunder Valley. Before the season it was “I expect him to be 5-8” after last week it was “he talks all that shit about Jett he better worry about Prado, Cooper, and Sexton first!” Now it’s “he only could keep up for a few laps, he only held Hunter off for 20 minutes, he only beat everyone not named Lawrence from a bad start”. The hoops you people jump thru to discredit the kid will be studied some day

The haters and glazers are so annoying. You both get your rocks off waiting for this kid to fail or pass Jett. Grow up and enjoy the racing.

Scrolling through reading the genuine appreciation post from some and still seeing down votes shows me that if you aren't slobbing all over Deegs knob you get a down vote. 😂

I'm pulling for him and my country, but he ain't beatin' the Lawrence Brothers, not this year. The way they have learned to ride, they conserve energy and flow so much faster,....dngr beatin' everyone else is pretty strong for a rookie just the same

Help me with my memory since I’m old.

It was the 2001 US Open SX that RC was dressed up as a king, yes?  He beat the king of SX in 2001 so he thought it was a good idea to be knighted as the king of SX.  Do I have that right?  Tell me if I’m misremembering, please.

Problem with Deegan is - he and his fans did the king coronation before he even entered the class.  Never even did a race!  International SX doesn’t count as those rounds are meaningless.

Now that he isn’t winning like a king the goalpost movers are out in full force.  In a separate post I considered starting a goalpost moving business.

The only thing that happened when he was coronated king is it really pissed off 18 and 96 and all the others.  The coronation happened, it can’t be undone, and now he and his fans look like trash.  Sorry, they were trash to begin with.  Incontrovertible, irrefutable, undeniable.
