I just don’t understand how you can be into moto enough to be on a forum, but also truly believe that was a bad first 450 race. It’s like you guys are so blinded by being haters or you just don’t know motocross at all.

Jett has a tougher time walking, than he does riding. Not sure what expectations you had on Haiden, but he rode great for his 1st race outdoors on a 450.
I’m not cool with all his antics, but when you realize that all the shit talking and BS that he does is making him lots of money, you might not be so offended by it. It’s lame and I get it, but he’s just going to get faster from here on out. I’m not sure he’ll be running Jett’s pace this year, but if he happens to get a hole shot and Jett is mid pack, like he was this race, Haiden is very capable of winning. Hunter has proven himself over and over and Haiden is going to have a tough time with both of them, not to mention a focused Prado.

I don’t really listen to the noise nor do I dislike Deegan, or anyone else on the gate. They all put a ton of effort in and are bad dudes to be hammering motos on these gnarly tracks. With that said, I just don’t think being on the rev limiter for 30+2 against all these guys that are being super efficient is going to get it done week in and week out. Hunter didn’t even have a bead of sweat on his head/face when he pulled his helmet off. Seems like a Barcia type who sent it on a 250, but didn’t carry that mega success over to 450. I’ll be glad to eat crow if he does, as it will make for some great racing. But that’s just my opinion 🤙🏻
deegs wasn't on his ass.....after he was passed by Jett he was not a factor, nor was he close in the second moto. Jett hasn't raced the whole year and didn't break a sweat passing Deegs. give me a break with that bs about being on his ass. what were you watching fanboy. btw you notice that Hunter and Prado smoked your boy by 25 seconds?
Dude what???? He was + time to 1.5-4 seconds behind Jett the entire moto 1 running through the pack. He was literally 2-3 seconds behind Jett for almost the entirety of moto 1 and going through traffic. Give it up dude. He rode good.
By your dumb logic Jett also finished 20 seconds behind hunter moto 1. Do you also think Jett is unable to run up front?

Reading through theses endless threads about the Deegan shenanigans,i have to say that he rode great for having such bad starts and finishing in the top 5.I am not a fan of Deegan but i appreciate his efforts for his debut in the 450s!
I thought he finished about where I figured. I had him 4th in fantasy and he got 5th, which is a very solid ride.
As far as the banter etc, it's fine but the response can't be "it is just for content/clicks/entertainment, when the guy beats you. If you come in running your mouth, RIP Jett on the shirt and whatever, and then lose to him at 70% healthy, then you got humbled. First race or not, you take it on the chin. That's how it works. You can't walk it back after the fact. But I guess that doesn't register with ppl who grew up in social media culture.
agreed. no matter how he spins it, he went to bed knowing he was right with Jett, passed him, and then got dropped by 6+ secs - TWICE. Deegs could actually earn some fans if he'd say things like "Well, I know now the speeds these guys are running and they are no joke! I'll have to dig deep and find more if I wanna hang, so congrats to the winner!" instead he applauds himself for the amazing way he passed jett for 2 turns only to eat roost for the rest of the race.
That would be a great interview and response to the adversity. Would love to see it.

70 percent? Same with JT I believe on the broadcast saying hes at 80% or whatever. That means if he rides at 100% he will be like 20 seconds a lap faster. Absolutely foolish and I cringe when I hear these "estimates" of pace and ability. Massively discrediting to the other riders at the same time too.
Its 80% of his health/fitness/healing, not 80% of his full speed.
Considering Haiden started as far back as he did both Motos which required him to come through the pack and restrict his line choices, 25 seconds back is really not all that bad. If he manages to pull off a good start, he should be able to hang right in there. Pala just showed us that Haiden has podium level speed and we shouldn’t be all too surprised if he racks up a few of them this season.
Let’s be honest, take away the stupid T-shirt he wore, lame ass jewelry, and considering the class of guys he’s now racing against, Haiden did phenomenal for his first ever 450 Motocross race.
Same as always.
Sorta respect him when he’s on the track, ignore him everywhere else.
