despite knowing that the kid has skills, i also have learned that he misses a lot on the inteligence side...... in fact i guess it is a trend that fallows him,family, fans, etc...
i love seeing how much the rednecks blow him up and make him the last cookie on the package.....and everybody with a name in usa is also riding this wave of hyped talk, everybody accepts to put him at Jetts level......i know jett as beat all other americans, and deegan has been dominant in a week 250 field, so i get that deegan his the last hope of win in a sport now dominated by foreigners.....but all the hyped talk only happens if some races are forgoten, those where he was simply beaten by race craft and good thinking, he even got his ass handed to him by a 17 years old kid, the first time the kid raced him without points responsability....
i think all this hype is stupid and can only hurt him in the championship game, he might do good at pala, but they are putting him so high that it can only hurt a lot more when things dont go his way, which judging by what i saw at wsx, it might not be that great....
i think that patriotism has taken over race knowlage in deegans case.....every american only wants an american to win, and besides deegan they dont trust any other one to do it......so it will be fun fto see "the american motocross industry" paddleing backword pretending not to be jumping of the train they choose to ride before facts......

So I'm not the biggest fan of his fake persona or whatever he trys to play on camera, doubt anyone is at this point. But I remember an interview he gave to (I think it was Gypsy?) in 2023. He obviously said some dumb shit towards Hunter that year and tried to play games, but in that specific interview he only spoke in high regards about Hunter, said it helped him getting beat like this and that he always wants to learn from the best.

Regional restricted race series are entertaining but mean nothing determining 450 success. 99% of fans couldn’t tell you who won two years ago.
Not to forget a rookie Davies was faster last year and won 3 in a row. We all know how Davies handled business at the last round once his title was won this year. Think this favors Deegandashian in the long run?
