Who is Matt Burkeen

Former pro privateer that raced a 2 stroke out of the back of a worn out pickup against the 450s and documented the struggle on social media.  Kept getting banged up and realized making content was easier on the body and paid as good or maybe better.  Announced at one of the Arenacross series this year for TV.

He was a privateer/national pro. Got hurt a few times , seems like he’s given up the risk of racing himself and has took to traveling and filming. Seems like a super funny guy with a ton of energy for moto.

I saw him at budds and he was literally jogging from turn to turn to film track side.

I could be wrong, but I think his dad is Mike Burkeen, Deputy Director of AMA Racing.

Matty B is good folk! Dig his content and humor—I have added “that’s an ACL…” to my race-watching vocabulary. 

He's the guy that ended Kevin Sherman's career and a few years later successfully tracked down J-Law's stolen bike.  

In the future he'll be the TV announcer for supercross (after Weege retires).

Some of his stuff is actually funny, some is a little annoying but good for youtube standards.

Matt is awesome, he has done alot for guys like me that never will se any of the amateur races live. i can just watch his videos of the races like world 2 stroke championship.
