What an incredible season. There's so many elements and stats to Ken's story that make this championship seem almost unbelievable.

Congraulations and thank you Ken Roczen.

Getting out front was so pivotal and he did exactly what he needed to do by getting in front of Hunter before the whoops. After Denver and tonight's qualifying and heat, I was worried that he wasn't feeling it at these dry tracks, but goddamn he came through we he needed to.

I think we can all die happy now, fellas. I honestly can't think of a better championship ending in the last 20+ years of watching. What a story.

Been rooting for KR94 since 2010 Denver MXDN's.  A young 16yr old German on a Suz 250 beating most of the 450's that day.

Great person, family, story, and example.  Well done KR94!

Tomac had 28 wins before winning his first 450SX title.

Found a couple old cell phone pics from the 2011 USGP I attended... I became a Kenny fan that day.

I work at Heartbeat Hot Sauce, and thus am involved with Team Solitaire. I was working A1 last year and Ken came over late Thursday with his bicycle and asked to store it in our semi because his was locked up and everyone was gone for the day. I told him no problem and we chatted for a minute or two.

The next morning he swung by to grab the bike and said “Hey Tanner, thanks again for doing this!” And I couldn’t believe he remembered my name.

Couldn’t be more happy for him to win.

Oh, one other thing I distinctly remember from the 2011 USGP... Kenny was the only 250 hucking a massive uphill triple. This was from morning practice, no idea if it's him or not:

How many does Roczen have? Does he also have 28?

I don’t know that there has ever been a greater comeback story in sports history. Two back to back career ending injuries, years of struggle and persistent health issues, non factory ride on the most outdated equipment out there and way past the age that anyone thought was possible to get a championship. He has been written off every single year and yet he fucking did it. There is no better story to make a movie about. Congrats Kenny that was truly inspiring.

Hear hear!! Congratulations Kenny! I was hootin and hollerin so loud after that start, my 9 yr old son looked genuinely afraid. Haha. Can't say it better than what many have already said here tonight. And yes, I shed some tears too.

I can’t be the only one that teared up, right?

Me and my buddy both had tears going. What  a moment. So powerful seeing him just stop on the track and just sit with it.

Absolutely incredible!  When they make a movie about Ken’s life it will be the first time I go to the movie theaters  in 15 years.

So stoked for Kenny. There was a spell where if he didn't have bad luck, he had no luck at all. And he pushed and pushed and pushed himself. He earned this the hard way! Congrats Kenny!

I don’t even know what to say, what an unbelievable story for so many reasons.  Massive respect to Hunter for how he rode all season long and how he handled the loss, two extremely deserving champions and it sucks one of them had to lose.  It’s so special to see Kenny get this after everything he’s been through, just unreal you couldn’t script it better.

Really wanted Kenny to win so that was awesome, but also like Hunter and hated the way that went for him. He was such a class act after the race. Huge thanks to both riders and both teams for the season they gave us.

Yup.

Hunter  and KR were absolute professionals.

Classy all the way around.
