I don’t get this place. Vince may rub you all the wrong way but the guy is racing at the highest level, making a living doing what we all love and wish we could do. I’m often pretty pissed off at Vince for his antics…but, damn…this place goes “tilt” sometimes.
Nobody disrespects his ability on the bike..or at least nobody that's honest and knows what they're talking about. He's fast, not elite, but fast. It all boils down to his fake ass attitude when he's confronted. If he would just be up front and be like "Fuck yeah I'll cross jump your ass. Be ready and don't expect me to do anything less to keep you behind me." Guess what.. People wouldn't hate on him nearly as much. It's his "playing stupid" coping mechanism that doesn't sit well with his peers or the fans.
Edit: And I agree, I don't think anyone should ever wish harm to a rider...if that's what the comment was insinuating...

I agree with you with the exception of guys who put bounties out on teammates and disrespect them far more than I'm capable of doing on a message board.
He ain't worth retaliating on, then he catches guys off guard cuz they were playing nice . Was me I think id have to knock him down to ensure my own safety. It just goes to show most of these guys really don't like to take people out and clearly don't practice it much because it's almost like Keystone Cops when they try and at least 6 out of 10 the aggressor goes down when its anyone else but him or Barcia. Don't be surprised if one of the first things Haiden does next year is get into it with dude, he is going to be trying to establish himself. One bad start and I expect fireworks. Besides that guys pushed Hayden around a little his rookie year (Jordan Smith for example). I have a feeling that he'll be extra touchy to that type of behavior this time as a rookie. Esp if race wins arent happening within the first season of Sx. Even Barcia seems to bump guys Moreso than take them out at this point.

VF was racing with individuals at the highest level. I wish him no harm and hope he is OK. But, he needs to get gone from the level of racing he pretends to be in.

As far as Vince related crashed go, this one was pretty low on the severity scale. Hoping he isn't hurt.
VF is the poster child for only allowing racers who are contracted with fully backed factory rides in SX. Get well VF...and move on.
