Last 2 SX tracks will be nearly identical..

I mean they are less than 5% different. The track outline is the exact same lanes. Its ridiculous when this happens.

it’s a shame tht half of the video game community on the supercross games & mx bikes can create better realistic , logical tracks than the actual series but this wht happens when they keep taking shit out like dragon backs and going for safer designs & when was the last time we had 2 whoops sections 🤔

Either a ridiculous oversight or a weird intentional decision.

It’ll be interesting to see who does well this weekend and if that means they’ll feel more confident in SLC

I have hundreds of tracks designs from when I was a kid and some I made on MX Simulator. They are way more creative while being realistic than most of these tracks the last 10 years..

What's completely lame about this... the lame switchbacks. I didn't realize Utah was going to be the same.  🤦

^ I like the switchbacks. They set up a lot of passing opportunities. SX tracks are already too focused on jump, jump, jump, jump; it's nice to have something to break up the monotony.

2 whoop sets in Denver huh. They can't come at a better time for Kenny

Oh great, another football stadium with tiny floor space. The entire 17 rounds is just Anaheim + Daytona + 14 football stadiums.

I don't mind switchbacks if they open the radius and don't have the disc as the track marker for the 180 like they did in St. Louis 2024:

I always wonder why the announce track maps and change them. I'm happy they're making denver different than SLC (assuming this is a real pic of the track being set up), but always wonder why they change things like swapping triples for doubles

That's from last year... I've already seen on track footage of them making both whoops and the proposed map from online. Nothing has been changed.

Bear in mind, MX simulator doesn't have to worry about safety mule access, water truck and skidsteer access and storage, camera placement. Dirtwurx are soooo good at what they do with what they have to work with, which I've heard is slightly more than half of the dirt they used in the early 2000s (600 trucks vs 350 trucks) but that might have been BS.

As far as stadiums go, i think the stadium in Arizona where the Cardinals play is the real crown jewel of SX. The dirt is always perfect, dry but not dusty, and they always open up that sort of addendum space behind the end zone so you get massive starts and at least one rhythm lane that's mega long.  I wish they could all be like that place.

I am liking the setup of this Denver track with a sand section and the two whoop sections.

Interesting. Different strokes for different folks I suppose. I think Phoenix has some of the worst Dirt on the circuit.

Just the implementation of some old school wall jumps and the damn over/under bridge would add so much variation to the race tracks. We only had the over/under bridge at A1 and San Diego this year.

I have surveyed and calculated dirt quantities most of my professional career. They are cheapening out on the dirt.

Go back and look at a track from 2012. 30% more dirt.

Don’t know if you’re kidding or not, but look at the prices by hour of the equipment they run to bring in the dirt and prep it, and remove it 2 days later.

If they are cheaping out, you can’t blame them with today’s prices.

IMO Feld is the issue here.  They’ve neutered the track designers.  Not a single layout from the past few years truly stands out.  They’re all recycled copy and paste garbage.  Bring back creative and challenging SX layouts.

I’m being serious. I have surveyed literally thousands of stock piles and calculated the volumes on them. I can usually get to within 10% of the volume just by looking at it.

And yes equipment and dirt are very expensive. I’m in that world, so I get it. What makes me so mad is everyone in the industry acting it’s some mystery is aggravating but it was it is. Credit to Steve he will say they use less dirt sometimes.
