Haiden is in a win win situation. His Stans will praise the second coming if he beats Jett. If he doesn't this year the same stans will be like "He is a rookie and Jett has had a perfect season. It's coming"! 

Look at his over seas podium in the first event. he only beat people like craig 1/3 motos. But the points structure gave him the podium. Than there were calls for him to go 450 now. Although he struggled to beat Craig, who lets face it, isnt a top 10 guy

There shouldnt be any excuses for Haiden about needing more time on the bike. He’s been practicing on it for a month I feel like, far more than anyone has in 450 sx right now I think. One thing he doesn't have is racing seat time.

I have spent my entire life trying to explain to folks i know that top tier moto is an elite sport and not monster trucks or “entertainment”.  

Deegan is taking us back a couple decades for his own monetary gain.  Pretty American of him I suppose.

If Jett’s riding style (Prado, Sexton and Roczen too for that matter) has taught me anything, it’s that bouncing off the rev limiter and scrubbing everything on the track still doesn’t beat riding a gear high carrying a ton of momentum with limited extra movement on the bike.  That brawler style definitely isn’t as efficient but also doesn’t seem faster than the low rpm guys I mentioned…sounds a lot faster on Instagram or at a practice track though.

Exactly. The thing the Donger fans are forgetting is Jett Lawrence isn't just the best 450 rider in the world right now, he's the best of all time (not just my opinion). Anyone who knows the sport and is seen him ride knows this is the case. Having him on the couch has seeminly made people forget how great he is. As I said earlier - go back and watch 2025 Red Bud, or Unadilla, or Southwick.

There has been a couple moments (Hangtown or Redbud when he landed on someones bike) where he was able to just roll it out and instantly get back up again. I still can't believe how he avoided injury with that Redbud crash which was also completely out of his hands. As sumdood said tho, 450s are gonna be a different most likely.

He reminds of Rc in that regard, ie: He is tough and crashes good/lucky so far. If I was him id claim i was aiming for top 10 and try to sneak up on them. That ship sailed long ago though.....
