Congratulations to Cole and all ya Kiwi buggers. I'm looking forward to what he brings next.

Unreal effort the way he handled the pressure and expectations from the industry & fans alike. Dominant championship run. Hopefully the first of many. Congratulations young buck.

Love watching him ride.  Dude is poetry in motion on an sx track.  

Also loved watching the pride on his mom and dad’s faces when their boy took it home.  Amazing night for Cole and that family.  He’s a phenom.

He’s one of the most natural SX riders we have ever seen. 

All you Kiwis should be proud. Looking forward to see where he goes from here..

Ol Ben Townley deserves a tip of the hat here. He did a great job mentoring Cole. 

Ben must be so proud and happy for the kid, so congratulations to him to.

He did look amazing this year. Bummed for Seth he rode great this year too.  But stoked on Cole. Big fan! 

Great year for the kid congrats….he was sooo lucky that he didn’t go down with Seth his front wheel went between Seth’s front wheel and frame while the bike was flipping…the re-play was unreal!

Awesome achievement.  

Hell yeah, kid has a promising future for sure!

Does he get one title defense then have to move up? Deegs and Davies on 450s? Yikes! 

Yeah. 2028 is gonna be insane. Hopefully Shimoda will move up aswell in 2028, it's about time

You know, you've heen somewhat bearable lately. Every post wasn't about Deegan. But then you do stuff like this. Its a thread about Davies. What title did Deegz win his 2nd sx season? Just keep this emergy this summer

Worst part is I’m pretty sure I’ve seen Mav say that guy is like 70 years old. I sure hope I don’t find myself fawning over a kid 50 years younger than me when I’m that age lol.

    Cole is the class of the 250 East division, which he easily proved this year. I will say, though he did have a financially tough road to get here, and certainly his parents were making tough decisions about his future, he should try smiling a bit more . He is living a dream that most on this site would be happy to be living. Fantastic skills for an 18 year old, and he will only get better ! 

I'll claim him as an Aussie, after all NZ was under NSW governing 1839 to 1841. 

We already claimed him last year,  at least until he beats our guys,  then he's back to being a sheep shagger 😂

Insane season by Cole. Arlington start crash was on him. Otherwise all rounds on the podium. 5 wins and 8 podiums in 9 rounds.
Can't wait to see what he can do outdoors. We got a glimpse of it at Budds Creek, but bringing that every weekend on all tracks is another story.
Crazy to think that he might line up at A1 2028 on a 450.

Truly impressive season, he matured very quickly on the bike and rides within his head which is usually a tough thing to master for the young guns.  Like everyone I'm excited to see how he does outdoors, I don't take much from last season since it was just two rounds. Hope he has been able to focus on getting ready for outdoors, maybe wrapping it up early will help with that.  I got the pleasure of meeting him and his parents last year and they seem like such down to earth good people-pretty refreshing this day and age.  

Does this mean he has to move up to 450s in 2028? 

Last night I watched 100 Hours with Cole.

Yep, he's exactly who I thought he would be, a nice kid.

(Yes, I did see the bit where Haiden flew him out to surgery).

Incredible rider. Came into Sx under the radar and over delivered instantly. 

Amazing how good he is. It’s one thing to practice with Ben Townley for a couple of years, and get good. But to be able to put it all together in race conditions on the big stage and not be phased by it all is something else. 

If he wins 250 sx in 27 yes...
