The daytime races that are shown live on NBC always seem to be duds.

Hard to believe the number of racing non-fans on this board.  I'm stoked every weekend , especially when there's a close points battle still going on.

WTF...some here got tired of booing the broadcast and now widening your horizons to racing in general?

The folks complaining about how boring it is...is this from the same people that whine non stop about ... the broadcast, the announcing, hating mudders, hating on riders, on and on.

Sad to see so many here who are down right proud of being bored with racing and bored to the point that they fall asleep during the race...sheesh. What an oddball flex.

For those whining about the race being on in the afternoon...learn how to operate your DVR.

I’m over it.  Without Jett and Tomac, it’s like the 80’s NBA finals between the Celtics and Lakers without Bird and Magic.

I’m still excited for the races. Just not a fan of the 3pm start time again

I would be a fan of the 3pm start time for west coast races.

Normally I am fully invested in SX until the final round.  But with Tomac, Prado, Lawrence, Lawrence and Anderson out, I think the last ~6 weeks have been kind of boring.  East Rutherford was overall one of the most boring nights I can remember in awhile.  Even the LCQ's were boring.

Happens every year

Winter wrapped and spring took off and life feels a little different for everyone...about Seattle ish you were content and your interest started to wander

Start it 3 weeks earlier...Take the week off for Christmas..let the mudders happen in open roof stadiums (part of it) ...be done end of March.

Give them month of April to train for outdoors in May 🫡

100% agree. Well put.

Yup, indoors and out.  I just like dirt bikes.

No, the Broadcast/TV Package/mobile app isn't nearly as good as the F1 package, but for a niche sport it's not too bad.

SX is just way too long of a series and it ends up being the same thing over and over, by the time April hits. I realize it is the money generator of the pro racing series but you can only do so much with a flat stadium floor. I prefer the Outdoors. I love the tracks, variety and racing of the Outdoors. 10ish rounds is a good amount for that. But the time slot, time of year and the fact that it isn't friendly toward casual fans is an issue and I get it. But I agree, by April, SX has sort of lost it's luster for me. I'm ready to watch Outdoors (later in the evening) and spend my weekends riding. But as mentioned, I will still be watching SX until the end, because it's just what we do.

Dunno this is a hard one BUT I say let them do the pre season/ overseas races.  A couple of weeks rest & family time over Xmas & new year. Then maybe 14/ 15 rounds of sx and then onto outdoors which could start early April.

Never know maybe if there is not as many SX rounds stadiums maybe every round would sell out

This has been one of the best sx seasons in a while. We got a three way battle for the 450 title, with the points being close. The 250s have been fun to watch as well. You never know what you’ll get from Deegan, and dominance keeps people watching because they either want to see Haiden lose or keep winning. Cole Davies stepping up his game in only his second year is exciting because the level of competition is getting better and better because of these young racers.

I’m not over it at all.

Bring back Gatorback in the middle of the SX series. Change things up for a week.

Outside of Vital most fans are happy with the sport. And happy to watch live racing. Here on Vital the majority of the forum are perfectionists and cry about everything related to the sport. Just a cess pool of hate coming out of this forum. Which is sad…

What % of salary will be deducted for less racing?

too many rounds, kills outdoors when several are injured or still not 100% coming back from injury. I didn’t watch last weeks race at 3pm and probably won’t watch this race either. But I know Chase wont win because I picked him in fantasy….I believe SX will end up being 1 large ramp jump with a ring of fire in a walmart parking lot…whoever survives the leap without burning up will be declared the winner …Professional125 will handle driving the large ramp to all the Walmarts in the Northeast during winter, race bike studded tires will be inspected by the AMA but no rule enforcement will be applied….Feld will charge the riders for the fuel used to ignite the ring of fire…Walmart will get exclusive rights to all Cowboy related clothing accessories……I could go on …

Sounds like you would lose more riders with the WalMart series.

If youre bored at this stage then yes:  "You are over it". Like... with the sport, in general.

If a three way title fight doesn’t entertain you, nothing will.

Seems most people aren’t paying attention to the date this thread was created. It’s a thread from a year ago.

I think it still applies to nearly every year when we are down to a one or two man race for the championship.  This year is a rare one to have 3 horses in the game.

A shorter series would be best for the riders to eliminate some of the meat grinder effect.

No argument it hits a little different this year with the top 3 guys 5 points apart but I’m still in the camp SX is 3/4 rounds too many. Kinda feel like it would help the riders to have a solid 4-6 week break before mx to get rested and tested. As mentioned above save for the different dirt at different venues SX is the same thing week after week. Of course in the end they’ll never cut SX rounds as it’s their money tree.

A three way always excites me.
