Let's put politics aside and talk sports. I'm curious what the top 5 rankings are of Vital members of pro sports that you follow, and it can really be anything done at the professional level (stick and ball sports, motorsports, sailing, surfing, darts, billiards, or whatever).
Here's mine:
1. SX/MX - Pretty self-explanatory being on this site. Even though I don't have an MX bike anymore, I don't let a weekend go by without tuning in to see how badass these guys continue to be in some of the gnarliest track conditions. I really can't comprehend hitting a massive lip with all of those crazy deep ruts they have no choice but to hit.
2. Golf - I had a golf club in my hand at 2 years old and lessons in elementary school, but my deep love came in college when I gave up MX racing and still wanted something competitive to do. Similar to SX/MX, seeing how easy the pros make a ridiculously long and challenging course look is astonishing. Not to mention the awesome variety of courses they visit across the globe.
3. Hockey - This sport would have been outside my top 5 this time last year, but going to several AA hockey games this year has me hooked. Love the mostly constant action, and fights are the cherry on top.
4. Baseball - Thank god for the pitch clock because it really has helped keep the flow of a game going. It can still be a bit tedious at times with breaks.
5. Football - This one would have been higher a year or two ago, and while I most likely have a game on the TV on Sunday, it's more just for background noise. I've lost a lot of passion because it's getting harder to enjoy the ridiculous amount of breaks for commercials, challenges, ref reviews, etc.
British superbike, the only bike racing that I won’t miss.
I watch motogp and world superbike but British superbike is always the best racing.
The lack of rider aids, old school weird tracks that suit different bikes, unpredictable weather and huge depth of field produces some absolutely fantastic racing.
1- MX
2- Women’s Beach Volleyball
3- Women’s Beach volleyball
4- Women’s beach volleyball
5- Boxing
MX and SX and Speedway to a certain level. Maybe football towards the end of the season. Other than that I don't follow any mainstream sports. 🤷♂️ When I find myself in a group of ball sport enthusiasts that want to talk about who's going from where to where, who looks good pre-season, I'm clueless. I couldn't name one basketball or baseball player, golf ? No idea, Jack Nicklaus ? lol. The good news is I don't care lol
MX/SX
Golf
NFL football
Baseball playoffs.
The Shop
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95

Other than MX/SX.
1. MX, SX, and MXGP
2 NFL
I watch some of the MLB playoffs, but the regular season is just too long and the games don't really mean much until the playoffs.
I used to watch some NBA (mostly Suns) but they just lost my interest years ago. And same as MLB, just too many games to watch.
So basically dirt bikes and NFL
Obviously moto tops the list, as well as IMSA sports car racing.
MotoGP.
World cup DH.
Women's world cup skiing.
And that's about it.
1. MX
2. Reruns of old 'UFC'
3. I used to watch a lot of ball sports, but the older I get, the less I'm like them. I think I used to use it as an excuse to drink at the bars. Since little to no alcohol consumption now, ball sports kind of disappeared for me. 🫤
Hockey and 410 sprint cars
1) SX/MX
2) MotoGP
Everything else is just filler.
I will watch Football, Baseball,Hockey, Basketball, as long as they are wearing Boston uniforms. Do not care about any other cities teams.
1. BMX. They shot themselves in the foot with FLO Sports, so now you have to pay to watch it live. My son races the Pro Series as a "Future" so we have quite a bit invested in that. Sadly, the sport really struggles with sponsorships and a solid TV program. The Downhill MTB series has full Monster backing and comes across much more professional.
2. SX/MX
3. Sportscar racing
4. Rally
5. Baja/Trophy Truck racing
Moto, rugby, f1, trials, AFL
SX/MX and Hockey.
MX
SX
Football
Nascar
Baseball
SX, F1 and women's college softball. and I follow all three very closely.
MX/SX, and dirt car racing. Specifically Super Late Models and UMP Modifieds. If neither of those are on, 410 Sprint Cars on dirt. I follow Asphalt Late Model racing to an extent but not as heavily as the others. Floracing and Dirtvision are awesome for providing streaming for these types of racing, but nothing beats an actual night at a local track.
Pit Row
Mine's changed over the past few years
1. MotoGP
2. MX/SX
3. Hockey(was number 1 until the Leafs shit the bed this year)
4. F1
I think that MX/SX is a given for most anyone posting on the forum, so I'd list 'other' sports that catch my interest.
For watching on television:
NCAA Football - Go Cougs!
NFL
End of season and playoff MLB
A couple of times a year, golf
Occasional Alpine skiing events
Auto racing seems usually better on TV for the most part because you aren't stuck with one view of the action, but you also miss a lot of the feeling of excitement from being there. The exception for me is the 1/4 mile ovals, those are absolutely fantastic live!
Seeing live:
WSU football
Mariners baseball
WHL hockey
High school boys and girls basketball and football
1/4 mile oval racing
NFL
MOTO
NASCAR
TENNIS
ARM WRESTLING
MOTO
UFC
The rest I couldn’t care less about, except for football is the Seahawks are doing goods
125 MX & dating can be as exciting as a buzzer beating game winning shot.
MX
SX
AX
GNCC
MXGP
Are there even any other sports???
An old friend of mine taught me years ago, the two best spectator sports in the world, are outdoor motocross and watching the women spectators at an outdoor motocross in July or August. Mirrored sunglasses have been highly recommended for such activities.
Mx/sx
Power Slap
If you haven’t watched “Power Slap”, go check it out.
Moto
Chicago Bears
Moto
Surfing
B.A.S.S./FLW
Golf
Any bike or board sports.
Won fortunes on stick and ball but never watched it. Won 3 of 4 fantasy football seasons on here without watching one game. Lol

SX / Mx
