I know he's won one race but I thought he would be better. Meanwhile, Tomac, Prado, Kenny, and Hunter have exceeded my expectations.

Season starts at Daytona
Obviously not comfortable, hopefully they get it figured out soon……
Not yet, but they have to be concerned…
As bad as he's ever looked in a race where he didn't crash. Start was good enough and got dropped by guys who in past years have had nothing for him.
Tomac crushing it, prado exceeding expectations, Anderson doing fine, marchbanks has been a disaster..... Plenty of evidence to indicate the bike is at least part of the problem. Combine that with sexton always searching for some feeling that doesn't even exist on a good bike..... definitely panic button time but not sure what good it's going to do.

Looking like George out there.
Honestly minus his win it really doesn’t even look like Chase at all.
Career wise, where does he even go from here? He's burnt bridges everywhere. Yamaha after webb retires if Hunter doesn't get there first, and end up as a #2 to deegan? Hail Mary the Ducati?
He's gotta figure this bike out or he's cooked.
Only 18 down. But yeah it isn't looking good. But there's still time to turn this around
He has 1-2 more weeks until I would hit the panic button. But this isnt looking good. At least he hasn't had a huge get off while looking very uncomfortable. He isn't out of this championship yet.
It’s tough to be a Sexton fan.
He has never excelled in conditions like this.
Panic button has been hit trust me
Not for everyone
Statistically, I think Chase was better on the Hondas…….. Maybe it’s just the Saturday night Molsons talking.
Not long ago on the KTM, Chase and Webb went back on forth at Seattle.
It’s easier to be at the front when only one guy is going your pace. Webb started up front. I don’t think Chase knows how to set up a bike. I have a 24 KX450. I don’t think it’s a great bike stock, but I think factory Kawasaki can make it good if Chase knew how.
He's got enough talent that he'll always have options. I don't think he's left any place on such bad terms that some time and circumstances can't fix it if a team is looking for a contender and he's looking for a ride.
The bigger panic button really should be at kawi. AC is about the only guy to exit there in the last decade who doesn't have negative things to say and his career there was a disappointment too. Combine that with PC being the standard in the past and now going on several years of disappointment. Jo leaves and is instantly better.... what's the argument that their bike isn't a problem?
The panic button is all inside Sexton's head.
I like the guy, I really do. He sometimes exudes raw speed and wins. The rest of the time....
Pit Row
I mean he's on the MAIN Kawasaki factory team. With unlimited resources and parts....and still can't dial in that 450 ??? Come on. It can't be that much on the bike being at fault. So many setting and parts you can change to get a better ride, I'm sure.
He already has hit the panic button; you don’t put in as Chase said “100hr weeks” while Kenny, Eli, and Cooper are playing with their kids, unless you are panicking. Those three (and Hunter and others) put in the work up front in pre-season races. Flying at the test track isn’t enough. That real question is with the panic button pressed what do you do that they aren’t already doing?
That button was pushed when he signed the deal
Nah, not yet. George would have quit and been passed by Friese 🤣
He could go to Suzuki when Roczen retires.
In past races when he was blazing fast and crashed, I found myself saying, "He should have just kept it on two wheels and taken a top five"
Tonight wasn't his track and he did.....he will be fine.
He wins a race. Clearly he can go fast on the bike. Then he decides he needs a different feel. Is this not the exact story for him with Honda and KTM? From a fan vantage point, it is really hard to conclude anything other than the only thing needing revalved is between his ears. Still, I’ll give him another two-ish rounds to right the ship.
I’m genuinely curious what all of the other instances of bad relations with Kawi are. I’ve read it a few times on the forum today. AC’s career was riddled with injury and he’s admitted that. Anderson seemed comfy on the Kawi until he got pushed out. Tomac didn’t jell towards the end, but he also won 4 championships on the bike. RV won 6 championships with them. Chase just got a W a few weeks ago. Like what’s the bar for Kawi in this situation? What’s the argument that Chase isn’t the problem right now?
The first couple weeks were expected but the last two weeks definitely didn’t look like Chase. No speed or intensity. Hopefully they are hiding an injury because if that is 💯 Chase they have some issues
Heard Kawasaki has a new investor
Chase is cooked unfortunately. His fall in the heat said it all and then just rolling around iin the main compared to his capability.
Panic button for the title has been smashed..
I still don’t count him out for race wins, but winning the title is going to be next to impossible for him
