I've been through a few sets so far. No problem going 7-10 hours. They do not chunk knobbies at all. Even on hard pack. Much improved durability.

How does that 7-10 hour figure compare to your prior tires IE is it the same/better/worse wear than a set of dunlops?

I don't run dunlops, so I can't speak to that. They last twice as long as they old style pirellis though.

What class? Wondering if they will last longer for us older slow riders. 40+ B/C in the Midwest with some softer tracks.

I’ve got 22 hrs in my mx34 and seems fine and 12 on my mx14 and seeming going for a few more.

Yep, i have made the same experience with the new one, have been through a couple rears as well. The old MX32 model on a 450 sometimes chunked knobbies after one day of riding.

However, performance wise the old MX32 is still better imo. Especially when accelerating out of corners on the edge of the tire it has more grip and feedback.

I take the new model for practice and the old one for racing (rear). Have a new model front tire mounted right now that i will test this week.

The new Pirelli MX32 compared to the Dunlop MX34 wears a little bit quicker, but has more grip when worn.

Does the rear only come in a 120/90-19? If so, why?

Interesting. Rocky Mountain is only showing the 90 but Motosport has the 80. And they have it in stock for $93.99. Not bad...

Anyone in Socal running these?

EDIT: The old version is $94, the new one is $142. Holy crap, that's pretty expensive.

I run a MX32 Mid Soft XC version for the woods and the thing is amazing. Hooks up on anything I throw at it. Roots, rocks, sand, dirt.

I’ve had 2 moments where I was kind of stuck on some roots spinning the rear and didn’t shred any lugs.

That's great news . I love those tires but lost 9 shoulder knobs in under 8 hrs and the edges still looked great

Were you running 14.5 or more psi? They are very sensitive to pressure - too low and the sidewall flexes and cracks the knobs along the base of them.

Where are you finding the new model? I ordered from Mass Depot who seems to sell on eBay and Amazon, had a great price but returned due to being '22 and '23 date codes and the old style.

Looks like Motosport has the '25 model. I normally order from RMATVMC and their pictures still show the old model...

I have a new set of 2025 MX32’s bought late Dec, early Jan.  I think I bought them from Motorsports.  Was going to mount them on my 23 Honda but might put it up for sale.    Guess I’ll save them use when I need them, cost too much to send back.

I had a little bit of a hard time finding anybody that had the new ones in stock.

New ones are awesome.  Amazing front tire.  Rear works will also.  But the front is really really good.

Way stiffer when fitting than old version.

Old ones r tough to change, that ain’t good. What happened to there sign up or the site for sponsorship?

I tested the new MX32 and compared directly to the MX14. Track was mostly soft and had a few sloppy spots. I felt the MX14 was better. The 32 was pretty good on cornering and accelerating but got sketchy a few times on braking. I thought it was odd. I couldn't find a reason to use it over the MX14.

Isn't the MX14 a paddle tire? Not really a good testing comparison.

Yes, Pirelli's MX Soft is closer to the MX14.

The new MX32 is kind of half way between the old MX32 mid-soft and the soft, or between an MX34 and MX14. They all work across a range of conditions. The conditions I tried them back to back leaned towards soft, but there were areas on the track that were ‘mid’. The sloppy spots also had a hard base under the slop. The tilled dirt gets really soft/wet with the untilled dirt staying hard. That was just one day. I rode it multiple days. What I wanted to find out was whether another tire would be better in the mid areas while being good in the softer areas. It’s splitting hairs between them and conditions on any given day can favor different tires. After multiple days of riding with each, and swapping them back and forth during the same day I decided what felt better to me on the tracks I ride. After multiple days of riding with the new MX32 mid-soft I was a little disappointed. It seemed like I would lose the rear unexpectedly. Next up to try is AT82.

Have you done any weight comparison btw?

Is it the MX32 front tire I see in one of the pictures? Looks like the mxgp riders run that tire on every track, and the MX32 or MX Soft as rear tire.

Hopefully they bring out the MX32 in an 18" id give it a try, it would be killer here in NC/SC where you can have deep powder sand and then hard pack red clay on the same track.

I wasn't super impressed with the AT82 rear, the original AT81 or an MX34 is better I think. For what its worth almost every single GNCC guy was running AT81 rear and then when the AT82 came out they were still using the old tire, MX34s or scoops in sand and mud.

I've been running IRCs moto tires lately and am really impressed, VX30 front and VX40 rear I I think the VX30 rear is a bit too spaced out for a do it all tire and the VX40 is great in sand still.

Yes, I did try the MX32 front, along with MX33, 34, and MX3S. The MX3S was a clear choice to me. I have an AT82 front mounted, but have not used it yet.

I do have some weights. These may be after some use, so don’t take them too precisely. The AT82 weight are brand new tires, the others have some use, though not worn out.
Old MX32 rear: 11lb 10oz

New MX32 rear: 11 8oz

MX34 rear: 11 14oz

AT82 rear: 11 11oz

AT82 front: 8 6oz

MX32 front: 8 11oz

Edit:

MX14:  11 5oz

The Pirelli scoop to me has nearly no downside: lasts way longer than it should, works fine on hardpack not a noticeable draw back compared to the mid soft or mx34 anywhere to me and is incredible in soft stuff.

I think it has more lean angle traction than the mx14. Maybe more forward drive in deep sand too. Either is a lot better than the mx12.

Feels better on braking than a mx14 to me also I notice that a lot, generally that’s where I feel the difference in scoops is on braking or dry hardpack, but the Pirelli scoop is the secret sauce honestly.

Just by looking at the new Pirelli mid soft I bet it sucks under braking, the backwards “flaps” or angles on the Pirelli soft is for braking, which the new mid soft has none, not sure why they would do that, unless pure drive out of corners was really their main priority.
